The Safi Royal is a good hotel. It's been in Monterrey for a long time. The location isn't the greatest, but it is centrally located. The "luxury" can be dropped from the name. While the hotel is well built, it is in dire need of an update. The rooms and spaces are well worn and need to be desperately updated. The hotel is clean and the staff are very, very attentive and professional. I would recommend this location for anyone that needs to do business in the area or is transiting, not for a pleasure or vacation stay in Monterrey.

En general me gusta el hotel. El personal es amable pero hay que esperar demasiado por la recepción. No esta en pleno centro pero a unos 15 minutos caminar. La alberca parece mucha más grande en las fotos que es.

I like the scenery, dining and pool/jacuzzi. I didn't like that there was no refrigerator in the room, the drawers to the nightstand and dresser were broken. They didn't have hangers in the room for me.
