Great family holiday

This was a great property for extended family. Lots of interesting places within an our and also some authentic Italian villages to explore nearby. The local pizzeria was very good and not expensive. Priests and her partner were very helpful and looked after us well. A very relaxing holiday but very hot in Augusta’s one downside is no air conditioning.

Lovely stay in the Italian countryside

We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore. Pity the football area was not maintained.

Relaxing two weeks

We had a lovely 2 week stay with perfect weather. The house exceeded our expectations and we would definitely consider returning. There were a few minor setbacks with the faulty dishwasher and lack of welcome pack, which would have been useful, but apart from that, it was great.

Wonderful Umbria experience

Lovely experience of Umbria countryside with beautiful surroundings, friendly people and amazing food. Special thanks to our wonderful hosts Susie and Paolo and Alfredo. Will definitely go back, still so much to see. Highly recommended!

posto molto bello, ma molto diverso dall'annuncio.

nell'annuncio si indiavano 12 comodi posti letto, mentre sono solo 11 (uno di noi ha dovuto dormire in lavanderia). La piscina non è esclusiva (sono presenti anche altre persone legate alla proprietà) e non è recintata come indicato nell'annuncio. La casa è molto più piccola di quanto appariva nell'annuncio. Il posto è bello (e ci siamo trovati molto bene), ma l'annuncio è molto ingannevole e con le caratteristiche reali il costo è un po' alto. Alberto

A lovely villa for an extended family

There was lots of space indoors and outdoors and excellent facilities. I'd recommend Guido's winner - especially the red. The pool was great. It's a big bonus to have a good pizzeria 5 minutes walk away. Paolo and Orietta looked after us well - even though they had a major drains crisis outside the villa that didn't;t effect us.

Beautiful house in the Umbrian countryside

Had high expectations after reading all nice reviews… and still we got a positive surprise.! What a wonderful place! The property is spacious with a nice garden, pool and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed warm nights by the big dinner table under the pergola. Drank the local wine and eat pizza from the restaurant around the corner - both very nice and great value for the money spent. A lot of cozy villages close by. Nice excursion to the waterfall and Lago do Bolsena. Good for adults and children. Nice to be able to close the gate to the pool when having small children. Only a few downsides to mention (but overall SO GOOD): - very low pressure in showers upstairs - would be nice to have a small grocery story close by - check in was not optional. The lady arrived about one hour late (long wait in the heat with small children) and when finally there she gave us the wrong property. Also a bit hard to communicate since she didn’t speak any English. But a very friendly lady - just a bit confused! :) I’m guessing that a lot of parties arrived almost at the same time made her confused… no hard feelings but check in process could be improved for next time Overall a very nice stay and we’re very satisfied and would love to come back again in the future.

Beautiful villa in lovely little village

We finally got there after two postponements due to the pandemic. It was exactly as shown on the site. Really nice, spacious villa. We were 3 couples, so plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Massimo, Paolo and Orietta looked after us really well. When we arrived a lightning storm had killed the internet, but the next morning the IT guys appeared and eventually got it fixed. Similarly, there was a small problem with the water supply that was rapidly solved. The hosts’ wine was delicious and really good value. Pool and grounds were well kept and lovely views. Plenty of sun beds etc. We used the outside kitchen most evenings, including the pizza oven and everything went very well. All in all, we had a great week - all the better as we had waited so long. Thanks to all

Casale favoloso con vista splendida

Vacanza con due gruppi di amici e 6 ragazzini in totale. Casale splendido, molto confortevole, pulito. Ampi spazi esterni per il gioco e il relax, organizzazione e supporto impeccabili. La casa è dotata di ogni comfort e supporta gruppi numerosi in termini di vettovaglie e pentola e. Ci siamo davvero sentiti a casa. Panorami da mozzare il fiato e un ampio tavolo esterno che abbiamo sfruttato tantissimo per ogni pasto, colazione inclusa.

Lovely family house

What a beautiful property! We were two families who spent a week at the villa and it was perfect, both in terms of space and location. The pool was very well-used, and we felt very at home for the week we stayed. The distance to Rome airport was just right, from a convenience point of view, and we found plenty to do, whether it was wandering round the corner for a pizza or exploring the waterfalls at Cascata delle Marmore. Thank you! We hope to be back.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Es ist der perfekte Ort, um zu entspannen. Die ruhige Lage zusammen mit dem schönen Haus und dem Pool ist traumhaft. Wir waren 11 Leute und das Haus war wirklich ausreichend groß. Allerdings gibt es nur zehn fixe Betten und das Zustellbett für die elfte Person war leider sehr ungemütlich. Das war aber auch der einzige Wermutstropfen. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Piacevolissimo capodanno 2019

La casa rispondeva pienamente alle attese ed alla descrizione. L'impressione vivendola è stata anche migliore rispetto a quanto percepibile dalla descrizione (molto ben fatta comunque). Lo spazio comune è comodissimo per più persone; la scala che suddivide la zona cucina dalla zona soggiorno lo rende ancora più piacevole. I due camini (uno nella zona cucina, l'altro nella zona soggiorno) sono piacevolissimi da vivere in compagnia. L'arredamento è molto curato, le camere spaziose e comode, la pulizia eccellente, la dotazione completa. Grazie da parte di tutti gli ospiti.

The perfect holiday villa

We are so grateful to have found your villa and most definitely plan on a return visit. We were three generations, grandparents travelling with two daughters and their families, and the villa was perfect for us. Before arrival, all organisation was very straightforward, just do ring ahead to warn of imminent arrival. Within the house, the bedrooms were beautifully furnished with lovely antique furniture, and the layout allowed the two families upstairs each to have their own 'wing' with two bedrooms and bathrooms on each side. Downstairs the kitchen has everything needed, including two fridges (one with quite a stubborn door!) there is a comfortable sitting area though we spent most of our time taking advantage of the different outside areas - breakfast in the sun, snacks by the pool with its utterly stunning views and dinners by the BBQ and the pizza oven - both of which we used. Do ask for the olive oil and honey - both were delicious. My only other advice to future visitors would be to do a large supermarket shop at the beginning of your stay for all your basics and do use the local pizzeria which is excellent. Otherwise most excursions took a while - it is half an hour into Todi (excellent ice cream!) Thankyou for everything - it was spotless on arrival, the pool is cleaned daily, there were fresh flowers on the table outside by the pool - all much appreciated. It is by far the loveliest villa we have stayed in. We will be back!

Villa worth its weight in gold!!

Lovely property with beautiful views and surroundings. The pizza oven came in especially handy and the pool was amazing. Very nice pizzeria down the road to sample excellent food at a good price!

Wunderfull time.

We, our children, in-law children and grandchildren have had 14 wunderfull days in Farnetta. The house was lovely, the pool as well, clean and nice. The descriptions of house, garden and pool fit well. The hosts were very accommodating and immediately sorted out the small issues we got. A small appeal: The description of the surroundings states that there is a pizzaria and a grocery in town. It is true that there is a pizzaria and a good one, but there is no grocery it has been closed for a long time. Vera Michelsen Copenhagen

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay in this villa in the quiet town of Farnetta. We were 8 adults and 2 children and everyone was very happy. Paolo was extremely helpful in answering questions on arrival and providing us with all the information we needed and catering to our needs - his wine and olive oil were both superb! This part of Umbria is simply beautiful and the villa is within easy reach of the popular places of Spoleto and Todi as well as smaller but equally lovely towns of Narni and San Gemini. Spectacular views from the property and the great swimming pool. Highly recommended!

A spacious & generally well appointed villa in a good location

The villa is attractive, well appointed, set in spacious gardens and in a good location for touring the region. I have one negative comment and one suggestion: Firstly, access to the pool is not precisely as described. The pool is adjacent to the owner's house and some distance from the villa with a gated fence between the two properties. There were two occasions when we would have liked to use the pool but found it already in use by the owner's family. The owner and his wife were extremely hospitable and I am sure they would have moved if we had asked them to. However, we should not have been placed in this situation given the published statement that the pool is for the "private use of the tenant" and "the owner doesn't use the pool when the holiday villa is rented for the privacy of the guests." The suggestion is that the file of useful information is reviewed & updated to include doctors, hospital, banks, shops etc. instead of just a series of local maps, phone numbers of the odd restaurant and a pile of largely out-of-date brochures. This suggestion was conveyed to the owner prior to our departure. Despite these comments, however, our stay was an extremely enjoyable one..

What a great place!!

We had a wonderful holiday with our family. The house is very complete and the pool with the view is stunning. One night we had the private chef that cooked for us, really great! The red wine of Paolo was very nice. Everthing we needed was there, also the outside pizza oven, WOW!! Thanx for the great stay and service! Maybe we'll see each other again.

Amazing

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel welcome and at home. The villa is amazing and full of charm, the facilities are fantastic especially the games room and swimming pool which with children is a must. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely be booking again for next year.
