Es war ganz gut
Die Ferienwohnung ist ein ausgebautes Obergeschoss eines Einfamilienhauses. Den Parkplatz hinter dem Haus konnten wir nur über die leider umständlich zu überquerende Terrasse erreichen. Vor dem Haus war parken nicht möglich, da es nur eine schmale sehr steile Auffahrt gibt, die von der Familie genutzt wird. Die Dusche war schlecht geputzt, es gab Schimmel an den Fugen und teilweise Kalkablagerungen. Handtücher waren genau abgezählt, es gab keine weiteren im Schrank. Störend fanden wir auch den penetranten Geruch vom WC Duftgel. Schön ist das Kinderzimmer mit kleinem Tisch, Schrank und Spielzeug und Hochstuhl. Der Ausblick ist schön, der Wasserfall und die Autobahn in nächster Nähe sind bei offenen Fenstern leider ziemlich laut

Neue Maßstäbe für ein perfektes Appartement
September 2021 haben wir zu zweit eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem Appartement am Mondsee verbracht. Der Aufenthalt verschiebt mein Verständnis der 5-Sterne-Bewertung einer Ferienwohnung: Die Vermieterin hat stets in kürzester Zeit auf Fragen reagiert. Im Haus kann man unmittelbar freundliche Unterstützung bekommen. Die Aussicht vom Balkon der Wohnung ist fantastisch wie auf dem Bildern im Inserat: Nein, das sind keine Werbefotos der Gemeinde. Die Rückansicht der Basilika unmittelbar vor dem Seepanorama liegt einem vom Balkon aus vor den Füßen. Um zum Haus und zur Wohnung zu kommen, sind daher ein paar Höhenmeter auf Straße und Treppe zu überwinden. Die Wohnung ist neu- und hochwertig ausgestattet, auch in der Küche hat uns kein Zubehör gefehlt. Die Kaffeemaschine ist besser als meine Zuhause. ;) An zwei verregneten Tagen haben wir den Ofen in der Wohnung angezündet und uns genussvoll auf dem Sofa in ein paar Decken gewickelt. Ausflugsziele (für uns Salzburg, Hallstatt) sind leicht erreichbar und die Gastronomie in Mondsee ist fantastisch. Besondere Empfehlung für Essen und Atmosphäre: Schlossbräu Mondsee (lokale Kost) und das Atrio des Nudelini (besonders das Risotto!). Wandern kann man ab der Haustür. Rechts runter geht es in die Altstadt (5min) und zum See (10min). Links aufwärts kann man wunderbar bis zum Aussichtsturm auf der Kulmspitze gehen. (einige Stunden, je nach sportlichem Ehrgeiz.) Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort sind perfekt für die Selbsversorgung - zum Shoppen kann man bequem in 30min in Salzburg erreichen. Mondsee war für uns die erste Urlaubswoche nach "Corona" - und wir haben jede Minute genossen. Nicht zuletzt dank der wunderschönen Ferienwohnung.
