Stayed here several times now when visiting my children. Room had obviously been redecorated recently as it was looking fresh and modern. Including a new smart tv. Food was of good standard as always. Only a couple of minor issues, that I actually forgot to mention when checking out, was the bath tub plug didn’t seal completely and the water slowly drained down when using it. The the other was the rooms are not very sound-proof, as I was awoken by the guests next door coming back around 1:30am and then to talk loudly until gone 2am, while I just lay there now having to listen to every word of it! Neither of these are really the fault of the hotel though

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Bar and food were reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Large parking area but still allowed us to bring our motorbikes close to the reception for extra security. Not much in the local vicinity without driving but we didn't need it.

The room was clean but tired, and the bathroom was the same. It was very convenient for Mold and transport links. The water pipes over our room were noisy from 6 a.m.; the staff were very friendly.

This has to be the most tired out and dated property I have ever stayed at. Staff were very unwelcoming. All they wanted to do was get the card machine out and move me along. No directions to my room, where any facilities are located. Had no Information on check out time or breakfast time or location. In my opinion a badly run hotel where the owners are wringing the neck out of the place in terms of upgrading it. I personally date it to late 70’s early 80’s
