Highly recommend

We had a most enjoyable stay. We booked it last minute after a long drive from North of Sweden to the UK. The hotel was exactly what we needed. Very relaxing, clean, excellent food and beer options, dog friendly, free parking. All staff we have interacted with were extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to. Would highly recommend and will most certainly stay there again on our next trip to Sweden.

The property was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. The on site restaurant was wonderful, and the serving staff were very friendly. Our reception on check-in was pretty abrupt and cool, and we think the receptionist was having a bad day. Other than that, the stay was very good, after considering that it is a pretty rustic hotel in an historic German town - but we liked that.

Deeply disappointed

I was shocked about the reception staff and once I saw the room I turned around and I was done with the place and left right away, I didn't stay one night even though I lost all my money as the hotel refused to at least reimburse me for some of the nights.

Booked 'family apartment' for 2 adults and 3 kids. This was however one double bed for adults and a fold out couch for 3 kids (aged 12,10 and 7). Not suitable. Also wifi was not working as our 'apartment' was in a different building. On the plus side, breakfast was great but not included in room rate.
