When we got there our room was not ready and we were down graded to a room that was ready. We stayed in the newly renovated room but it was anything but everything was falling apart

I understood the hotel was under construction and that did not bother me but, in my room the blackout shade was stuck permanently in the down position, and the air conditioner did not work. Also the young woman at the front desk at check in had no personality and could not have cared less about me as a customer. The person in the morning was more pleasant but, I noticed she did not venture to ask about how I enjoyed my stay.
