VACASA Managed Rental
My family and I stayed at this property for spring break in April 2025. We booked this rental because of several of the amenities that were listed. Specifically, the rental listed a pool, hot tub, sauna and multiple tennis courts as amenities available at the property. The location of the property is excellent; it is close to shopping, Destin and a couple different parks nearby where it is possible to get away from the crowds. The property is located a short distance from the beach. The property is managed by Vacasa and this is where we need to begin the negative portion of our review. The check in door code provided by Vacasa was not accurate. Thankfully, a maintenance worker was there who could obtain an accurate door code. We quickly learned that the "multiple tennis courts" were not available and were in long-term repair or replacement status. The sauna was either closed or non existent. One of the pools, with hot tub, was closed from Sunday until Friday (our last night) during our stay. When we messaged Vacasa about these issues, we received their AI generated response and no real answer. Overall this was a negative experience. My family and I paid our hard earned money to come to a property that was completely miss-represented by Vacasa and Vacasa did not respond to our communications to address these issues.
