Nice one bedroom for couple or small family
This condo was nicely furnished. Blackout curtains on the large windows were a big plus to keep out the early morning summer sun. The condo had both a standard pull out sofa bed as well as a futon couch that pulled out for an extremely nice bed to provide 2 extra beds. The king bed was comfortable and was in a private bedroom. I especially liked that the large bathroom had plenty of towels and was accessible by a door from both the bedroom and the living room. The showerhead was nice with plenty of hot water for 4 showers. It was a tub/shower combo but was adequate. The kitchen was equipped with most items. The ice maker was quick to make ice and the oven/stove worked well. The coffeemaker was a combo standard pot/single cup keurig. The condo supplied a starter set of supplies for both bathroom and kitchen. The summer heat made the balcony too hot to enjoy. But it would be comfortable and pleasant in milder weather. There is no outdoor fan.
Both bedroom and living room had ceiling fans which is a plus. The temperature seemed to regulate well, however the bedroom seemed a bit warmer with the door closed. The management company was quick to respond when I requested extra sheets and blankets for the sofa bed. The parking was a bit confusing initially since we were unfamiliar with the Sandestin wharf area. The parking garage is actually next to the Hotel Effie, and you just need to pay attention to the signage. You enter by showing the access code provided on your phone.
