There was some sort of mold issue in the room. I was up all night itching until I turned off the air and opened the window. The clerk would not answer the phone and when she did, did not offer me a new room or even an apology until 2 am. I had called several times earlier

The Stella is suffering from the Covid debacle, but is the best hotel option in Kenosha. I've tried others and have come back to the Stella. Lack of staff is a huge problem for them.

Thank you for the great rating! Please visit us again on your next trip into Kenosha as there are so many things to see and do in the downtown area. The museums, pubs, harbor front, sailing tours, etc...all within walking distance.

This was my first post pandemic hotel stay. Their restaurant hours were reduced, a big disappointment, and they did not do a daily room refresh. (U stayed 5 days). They claim the suspension of daily room cleaning is a state policy, probably so given that Wisconsin is Blue. I think in normal times the Stella will be a great stay and I also think I would likely be saying the same thing no matter where in Wisconsin I stayed this week.I will certainly give them another chance.

We had a less than desirable experience during our stay at the Stella. We checked in very last this past Friday (we had called ahead to let them know we would be very late) upon check in we were given a dirty room, black hair in the floor of the shower as well as on the shower walls. We were immediately given another room, when we checked into that room it was in even worse shape than the first room of one can even fathom that. By this time it’s nearly 1 am and the young man at the desk tells me he’s very sorry and they’ve been encountering this more frequently lately due to some new housekeeping staff. He then says he doesn’t know what else he can do but her will pass it in to his management. I asked for their managers email so that I could send the pictures taken to the manager so that they could see the condition of the rooms they were renting out for 200 dollars a night with tax. We were beyond exhausted from our travel at this point so I put towels down in the bathroom for my kids to walk on and attempt to clean the toilet seat, countertop and shower the best I could with my travel wipes. I cannot even begin to tell you how completely disgusting this bathroom was on arrival, coffee rings and water marks on the counter along with loose dirt and debris. Hair in the sink, shower, floor and actually on the TOILET SEAT itself! Crumbs in the carpet in between the beds and what felt like crumbs in the bed closest to the window. If it hadn’t been 1 am on a graduation weekend
