It was a terrible hotel. I don’t know what else to say. At least I know I won’t ever recommend this property or Expedia to anybody else. I will delete the app and be sure that anybody that I know does not use Expedia or this hotel.

We only stayed here 1 night but I was very pleased. The employees were quick & friendly at check in & out. The beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure. They had these fresh cinnamon buns at breakfast that my kids loved (as well as the normal yogurts, cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, pancakes, eggs, etc). We didn’t have time for the pool so I can’t comment on that.

The room was clean and staff was nice. We were only there for a brief overnight and used it as a pit stop on our way to Univ of Pitt. We were on the ground floor and the window did not have an actual curtain. Instead it was covered with a smaller piece of fabric. Our only complaint is that there should have been an actual hotel curtain

Uneventful stay

The room was adequate. Few amenities. Staff was nice AC /heat was good. The hotel needs a remodel and reception needs professional, business dressed staff. We stay here every time we visit MP and have for years and we agree that the reception staff is always scruffy looking and dressed for a sporting event not work. The bathroom shower was not adequate for a handicapped person. How could we have sat on the shower bench and managed the hand held shower at the other end of the tub. The hose was too short and anyway how to manipulate the water temp and flow?!

Overall the room was lean and comfortaable, and the front desk clerk allowed me to check in slightly early. This was much appreciated after a very long drive. I did miss having a clock radio in the room, so I can check time if I wake in the night, without having to turn on a light and check watch. Not everyone is sucked into the Smartphone matrix. Also, The breakfast items need to be checked more frequently. Breakfast was supposed to begin at 6, and when I came down at 6:15, there was no bacon and very few sausages. And I saw a case for cinnamon rolls, but there were none.

I reserved a handicapped room with a roll in shower. I did NOT have a handicapped room and definitely not a roll in shower. The toilet was so low that it was difficult to stand up after use. It was not a safe room for me.

I had a room reserved a week in advance. The Confirmation Number was received. My credit card was charged immediately. Upon arrival, my reservation was cancelled because of overbooking. When I ask the desk clerk what I should do, she just told me to go to another town and find a different motel. I depended on Expedia. NOT AGAIN!!! To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

The property is excellent. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want and it was very clean. About the room, the bed was so comfortable and the room was very nice and spacious. The only complaint I have is that upon entering the bathroom, the toilet seat was dirty and I had to clean it and the bathtub had stains in it that couldn’t come off and it had been repaired in the area near the drain and it looked awful. Finding the bathroom in this state was not pleasant. Otherwise everything else was spot on and I would definitely come back here as the property was otherwise excellent.

Getting checked in took a long time. There needed to be two people at the desk. Taking an evening shower about 9:00 I barely had warm water. But over all things were good. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was not good. I think we had leftovers from the day before and some things were burnt.

It’s a place to stay. That’s it, you don’t have many options if you’re needing to stay somewhere in the area. The hotel room was clean enough not to leave but I could NOT make myself use the shower as the floor of the tub was absolutely filthy, there were little black spots all over the place along the seal points of the shower walls, and toilet. The area where the keurig was had some type of brown sticky substance along the wall and the keurig itself was filthy so I decided against utilizing that feature. There were also ants in the bed! I know some types of ants just come and go with the seasons but yikes that wasn’t a pleasant sensation. I asked for makeup wipes and a toothbrush to be brought to the room and was told they were short staffed but would see about bringing it down. An hour passed and I called again with no answer this time so I just had to find something else to make do with. After I left the room I came back later to a notice stating they do not have the staff to send someone with individual requests to rooms so I would have to go to the front desk for any needed toiletries. Also around 12 midnight I was woken by someone banging on my door repeatedly. At first I thought it was next door but when it wouldn’t stop I had to dress and go see who it was. There was a drunk guest demanding I open the door who only left after I told her I wasn’t who she was looking for. My room was right down the hall from the lobby but no one came to help. Not a great stay.

Astronomical price for conditions of this hotel

I paid $170 to stay the night here passing through on a road trip and what a rip off. Our room was filthy, there was mold growing on the vent of the ac unit, the shower head was covered in mold. My kids feet were black within minutes of walking in the room. There were webs in the corners of the walls and visible signs of water damage throughout the room. To walk into a room after paying close to $200 and feel like you are sleeping in filth is extremely disappointing.
