Horrible from start to finish! Unprofessional and rude staff made me feel like a second class citizen. We called all week requesting clean linens and they were never delivered. We will never book this hotel nor book through Travelocity again

You get what you pay for

It was an ok hotel. For what we paid I wasn't too surprised, we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg so we got what we paid for. He rooms need serious upgrading. For being in Miami and in a nice part of town the rooms should be upgraded and much nicer. The walls need painted, the bedding needs upgraded, the carpet needs replaced. Also, the shower was so weird and annoying. It only had a half glass door so basically everytime we showered the floor was soaking wet. We ended up laying 2-3 towels outside the tub to help soak it all up and not make a huge mess. The room next door however had a shower curtain, which we would have rather had. The hotel is in walking distance to decent restaraunts & bars, love that it was right on the beach. The Windows could use a cleaning because looking out to the ocean the window was disgusting!! Needs fresh curtains as well.

Nice hotel on the beach

Nice hotel on the beach, big pool and lots a little restaurants to go eat. Would go back for another stay, loved ocean front view with balcony.

Take a chance on your stay.

Pros: Nothing special.
Cons: Teach the bellmen to help, teach the housekeeping staff to restock the rooms.
Location: IHOP about four blocks away. Also the grocery store Publix, offers muffins, hot and cold food, hot fresh coffee and teas.
If your able to walk up about thirteen stairs while carrying your own luggage, that's what you have to do. You get no help for the bellmen. The next thing is that they hit you with a resort fee, for using the pool and the chairs by the ocean, this is daily, even if you don't use the pool. You have to hunt down housekeeping for wash clothes, hand towels, toilet paper, and there are no Kleenex in the room. Also they try to get you to park in the lot for an extra 30.00 per night. If you can find parking on the side street I recommend to do so. The food is overly priced, and so is the coffee in the hotel. There is an IHOP down the street.

Close to beach

Pros: Lobby and pool area. Close to beach
Cons: Rooms need updating
Will never stay here again! Pictures on Internet look very nice but are not even close to what you get! Lobby and pool area are very nice! I had an oceanfront room and it was horrible! The carpet was very dirty and stained! Beds are very small and uncomfortable. The rooms are in need of a serious update! Very disappointed!

Worst hotel ever!!

First off the room smelled old and musty. There were no blankets on the beds only sheets. When I asked for a blanket I was told that I didn't get one because I was in a standard room?!?! They ended up giving me two blankets that I swear they stole from a homeless person!i went to shower that evening and I noticed that we only had two towels and one face cloth for four people!! Never again:(

Great week in Miami

Overall I had a great time and enjoyed the hotel, lobby is beautiful, front row access to beach and very affordable. Rooms were about a 4 out of 10 as ours had a small tv and was a bit rough around the edges, English seemed to be a second language to most so communication friendliness at times was difficult for example we lost our rental car keys and asked at least 4 hotel staff to help locate and they did not assist although one did recommend lost and found which did not have them. After contacting the rental place we bumped into another hotel member named Leonardo and mentioned the lost keys one more time and left our room number in case they were found he immediatley directed us and escorted us to hotel security in which we found our key had indeed been located in the laundry shoot from housecleaning- we were extremely grateful and feel he should earn employee of the monthI- hope he sees this! . We also got massages and a blowout at the Azul spa which was very nice- I would stay at this hotel again

Disappointed

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Spend some montey and clean the place up.
Location: Nothing to do
The hotel desk staff were very nice and helpful but the rooms for the price were very bad. The mini fridge looked like it was from a junk yard and the shelves were broken out, and it only fits a gallon of milk. Staying there you have to wear a green wrist band which was not very classy to prove you are guests. The pool was closed our first day there just because. The small store and others downstairs were closed down so we couldn't buy anything so we used the Walgreens across the street. On day two I got caught in the elevator that broke down for 15 minutes while inside with 8 other guests. The upstairs dinning room and bar was shut down and looks like it isn't ever going to be used. The upstairs bar was just this little thing with no TV's to watch sports or any where to relax, it was a joke. Food was expensive and not worth the pricies being charged. There are no activities for kids, no kids swimming area and people walking in from the beach were using the pool. The pool was over cholanated and bothered the families eyes. The room just seemed real old and musty. Would not ever recommend staying there. Very boring and classless hotel.

Do not stay there

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything including a new staff.
we moved roomes because of dirtyness, the 2nd room wasnt better. They didnt clean our room at all. We also had a running toilet and lost half the power in our room.
