Our room was very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were nice and firm after a long day of walking. The breakfast was nice and simple. Good to grab a bite before your real big meal at your destination. The coffee machine was nice as well. The location was great. Very walkable and lots of cafes around. Uber was great for further away destinations and super cheap. I was worried about other reviews stating it was loud, but we didn’t have that issue at all! Very cute and artsy hotel!

I loved this hotel! Even thought the rooms might be a little bit small. The area, the neighborhood, the staff and breakfast were awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy and the girl that works in the front desk are really friendly. The security guy is very nice and friendly too. Breakfast might be a little simple but it’s really good. If you’re staying in Mexico City, I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Traveled solo for the first time to Mexico City, the area was super convenient, centrally located and I felt safe all hours. The hotel is staffed well, breakfast is basic but okay, really enjoyed the balcony on top floor. I was placed in a very small room near the entrance that was loud my first night, and I asked to switch rooms. The hotel moved me the next day and the room was much better, so thank you HotelMX! You’re given two bottles of water each time your room is cleaned, which is also very nice. If you’re looking for a good location near restaurants, a pharmacy, cafes, shopping this is a great place. It’s a clean and safe space to rest your head after seeing the sites of the city.

Nice inexpensive stay in Roma Norte

We really enjoyed our stay. Free breakfast was OK and had vegan options with fruit and vegetables daily. It was a great location. The cleaning staff gave us extra towels and trash bags when they realized we had a toddler with us which we really appreciated. The bathrooms don’t have ventilation so it got muggy quickly after showers. I’d go for the suites. They upgraded us when they realized we had a toddler which we really appreciated. Two pairs of family members were in the smaller rooms and it was even muggier after showers. Very friendly staff.

Family vacation

There was nowhere to keep all of our clothes. There was many wood areas that could have been used to place hooks. Lots of hooks to hang a bag a purse a coat jacket a blouse pants etc. !!! There were only 3 hangers??? My husband and I had many linen shirts and pants that had to be thrown in our suitcase. Oddly the ironing board was in a weird place. Put it in the corner and put 6 hooks on that wood wall. Hooks when you walk in to hang things. I don’t want to put my things on the floor. Also when you walk into the room to the left we could have used 3 shelves to organize our things with. It was a bad use of space. We bought lots of crafts that we had to put on the dirty floor. Whomever designed the rooms for function did not know what they were doing. Also the man at the entrance maybe a security guard during our last several days never looked at us never greeted us and seemed angry. We all thought it was strange.

Room service could use a little help, they forgot one day, left another’s guest ‘s forgotten belongings in our room and also forgot our toilet paper. But for the rest, staff is very helpful and quick with communication, particularly on whatsapp!
