Caleb is an excellent host. The mountain House is perfectly appointed for extended stays. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the layout and atmosphere of the home cozy and inviting…true to the spirit of McCloud. The location is great for walking around the sweet little mountain town and close enough to Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir to access restaurants and activities. I highly recommend The Mountain House for a relaxing getaway and proximity to Snowman’s Hill, the Nordic Ski area and Mt. Shasta ski slopes.

Great for a calm getaway

Great little house for our winter getaway. Beds were a bit firm for me and the wife kids had no problems with them. That was our only gripe and it’s just a personal preference. Didn’t put a damper on our stay though as it was nothing a hot shower in the morning couldn’t take care of. Quaint little house in a quiet neighborhood.
