We had a fabulous time at this resort! Here are some things we loved: The Staff are very hardworking, friendly and helpful. The food selections at the main buffet are great (there will always be something for everyone so you're definitely not going hungry). They have different themes every night The rooms and property in general are very well maintained and super clean. The daytime entertainment team was great. A special mention to Danny (she was great with Teens). The Japanese restaurant - Tokyo - was our highlight. Special mention to Ismail (the Tepanyaki/Hibachi Chef) for his excellent interactive skills :-) Nightly shows were great and a lot of good effort from performers was evident The resort is a good size so getting around (with kids and seniors) was easy with everything within close proximity The beach is gorgeous and clean (no sargassum) It was easy to get a taxi/uber The Paradise village shopping plaza is right across the street with many essentials (Pharmacy, food market, Excursions, Souvenirs) The bar tenders were quick and knowledgeable with drinks Some things we felt needed some improvement: The Minibar in the rooms were well stocked daily. However, some days we needed to remind them to do this. The chips, beer and pop can selections were great, but the peanuts were stale. Not enough umbrellas/shed in the pool area which is hard on hot days, and we found people hoarding/engaging spots for hours and not actually showing up. Overall great place to go

The property was clean and most of the staff was helpful. We were only allowed to eat in the buffet because my husband did not pack a pair of dress pants which were required which is funny because the resort as a whole is maybe a 3 star definitely not 5 star as they were trying to make it seem. The all inclusive drinks were all served in plastic cups! Beer was only on tap. Not what I’m used to from an all inclusive for sure. Definitely would not stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The staff was excellent which made the whole stay. The buffet was decent, not amazing but not much else you can expect for all inclusive buffet food. Drinks were great and they had activities to participate in everyday. They take very good care of you here!

We recently returned to this resort for a second stay after having a great experience the first time. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to our expectations. Two of the restaurants were closed, and the overall service wasn’t as attentive. It was disappointing, especially since our first trip here was so enjoyable. Hoping these issues are addressed, as the resort does have potential.

I found the staff to be extremely friendly and polite especially when I struggled to speak some Spanish. The nightly entertainment was always enjoyable. Wonderful selections of food for every meal. Would likely recommend this resort for families or for timer to the all-inclusive world.

Been coming to this hotel for over 20 years…I will not be coming back anytime soon.The staff and or lack of management has slipped drastically.Pool had drinks and garbage in it every morning,beach area was in the same shape.I was personally treated unfriendly by most all of the younger staff.The lack of hospitality for us was astonishing!Do not go to this place and waste your vacation.Truely sad to see it fall so far from it’s former status.13 visits to this place,never again.If your an American traveler…move on,they don’t want you there .Thats the vibe of this place now

They did not show courtesy. The service at the Restaurant was awful. Refrigerator was licking water, door lock to the patio was broken. I would definitely will not go back to that hotel.

I have travelled to all inclusive many of times to different places. I was booked for 10 days, I arrived a day late due to plane issues. When I went to check in, my room was not ready. It should have been ready the day before that i paid for. Second my room was on the 4th floor 446 to be exact. They have music playing on the main floor and it travels all the way to my room which is at the top of the stairs. How are you supposed to sleep when you have to get up by 6:30 am for an excursion and the music is blaring! I talked to the manager and they moved me.. 4th floor room 465.. it was an upgrade. It was great view , balcony lots of space.. perfect. It was a storm that same night I got the room. When I woke up it was literally raining in my room.. — this was the upgraded one? I talked to the front desk and they said they would look at it.. later that day went back to the room towels are everywhere and it looks like they tried to “patch “ the ceiling.. I then got a call from the front desk.. upgrading me again.. now on the 3rd floor other side of the hotel.. room 383… way better had a view of the ocean, with a balcony and loungers this was the best side of the hotel.. the other side is old and hallways were always dripping with water. It’s supposed to be 100 percent smoke free.. it’s not people smoke by the pool and the ocean even has a smoking section and ashtrays in the rooms with the balcony. The food is sub par at best.. the al la carte is ok. 3/10 👎
