The hotel was okay, but far below what I expected. I stayed for four days on a business trip and asked at least twice a day for access to an iron. Somehow, this turned out to be impossible. I was told the hotel had 15 iron sets, but they were always on loan. Several times, staff said they would call me when one became available, but I never heard anything. The rest of the stay was mostly in line with expectations, but for a business hotel, simple and important things like this matter. Not being able to iron clothes for four days is frustrating enough. The lack of helpful follow-up from the staff made it worse. Overall, an okay hotel in some respects, but disappointing when basic business travel needs are not handled properly.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The service was excellent, the breakfast was very good, and the location is great. My only criticism is the bathroom: there is no proper shower enclosure, which causes the bathroom to get very wet, and there was no hygienic shower (bidet spray) available. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, my stay here was quite disappointing. Both the room and the communal areas were infested with mosquitoes and other insects. The room felt as though it was falling apart — cracks and stains on the walls, worn-out carpets, and an overall shabby appearance that resembled a cheap motel more than a hotel. The surrounding area offered very limited dining options, and many of the nearby cafes were frequented exclusively by men, which made it uncomfortable to enter, let alone sit and eat. On the positive side, the staff were polite and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is also within a short walk of the old port and the nicer parts of Marseille.
