While this villa is beautiful, spotless, and recently updated, our experience was far from the relaxing vacation we expected. I would not stay here again, nor can I recommend this property to anyone traveling with children of any age.Despite being advertised as a family-friendly waterfront home, we encountered several frustrating discrepancies and a very restrictive environment:Neighbor/Noise Issues: We are a respectful family group, yet we received a "huge noise" complaint via the host by 7:30 PM on our first night while our children were simply playing in the pool. It felt like we were being monitored by neighbors who have zero tolerance for the ambient sound of kids playing, making it impossible to relax.A/C Bait-and-Switch: The listing states not to set the A/C below 72F, but 24 hours before check-in, the rules were changed to 76F or higher. In the Florida heat, this is a significant and uncomfortable difference from what was agreed upon at booking.Parking Discrepancies: The listing specifically includes "garage" under parking, but we were told last minute that the garage was off-limits for vehicles.Beach Distance: The "short walk" to the beach is actually a 18-minute walk—a long trek when carrying beach gear and managing kids.The house itself is top-tier, but the management and the unwelcoming atmosphere regarding children turned what should have been a great stay into a stressful one. If you have a family, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
