One bedroom 1st floor apartment with balcony and close to the beach and town

This first floor top apartment offers light and spacious accommodation for two people and is only moments from the beach and a short walk to the ancient cobbled causeway that leads across the sands at low tide to the historic castle of St Michaels mount which is surrounded by sub tropical gardens. At high tide there are frequent taxi boats making a visit possible at anytime of the day. A short walk from the property you will find the local pubs, restaurants, galleries and shops of Marazion. The property also offers a south facing balcony with sea views with table and two chairs it has an open plan lounge with dining area with fitted kitchen and breakfast bar. The spacious bedroom offers a king size bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are views of the sea from both the lounge and bedroom.
The apartment and balcony are accessed via their own private stairway.
A short drive to the west will find the town of Penzance, here you can take the ferry to the wonderful Isle of Scilly, a visit to Tresco Abbey gardens is highly recommended. Further to the west lies Mousehole and Porthcurno with the famous minnack theatre. The whole of the Penwith peninsula is blessed with golden beaches and sandy coves that can all be reached within a 30 minute drive, whether it's the sheltered bays of the south coast or the surfing beaches of the north coast it's all within easy reach.

A car is not essential for a visit to Marazion as there is plenty to explore on foot and the property is just across the road from the coastal path that hugs the entire Cornish coast, there is also a first class bus service and bicycle hire is available within a ten minute walk from the property, ride on e bikes are available on the seafront car park and taxis are also readily available
WE CAN OFFER A FREE PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICE from Penzance train or bus station or too and from any local car hire company, just let us know your arrival and departure times.

Although there is free permit parking at the premises it is limited to a first come first served basis and during busy periods the car park can become full, alternative on street parking and car parks can be found close by

Excellent property in excellent location

The flat is perfectly located for all that Marazion has to offer and is also a great base to explore the area. Everything you need for your stay is provided and the flat is both comfortable and immaculate. Lorraine is a fantastic host. When we arrived she gave us some recommendations for places to eat, both of which we tried and both of which were excellent (The Fire Engine and Surf Club) and she was available by text for any questions we had during our stay. We would highly recommend the flat to anyone looking for a great escape to this beautiful part of the UK!

Ideal Apartment for 2

A light and airy apartment which is very well equipped. Just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and just a few minutes walk into the centre of Marazion. We had no problem parking at the complex but at times the car park was full - there always appeared to be spaces at the long stay car park but thankfully we didn't need to use it. Easy access to bus stops to Penzance & Praa sands (and other locations). Great location for a peaceful holiday. The ownner of the property was very helpful, friendly & very knowledgeable about the local area. Would stay there again.

Amazing apartment

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. Very comfortable & well appointed. It has everything you need for your stay. It is located in the small town of Marazion on the road opposite the beach & St Michael’s Mount. There are local shops & good pubs just down the road. The hosts, Lorraine & Mark were very friendly & helpful. We definitely recommend this accommodation.

Opposite St Michaels Mount

A very comfortable, clean first floor apartment in the middle of a picturesque Cornish village. Onsite parking was a bonus which made it very easy for our touring holiday. The facilities were excellent and the apartment was in east walking distance of St Michaels Mount, the beach, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Lorraine was a lovely host.

Absolutely lovely

This apartment was the best accommodation we have booked for a holiday. It was immaculate and so spacious, it was so lovely to come back to each evening, to have a shower or a relaxing bath after a long day out exploring. It really does feel like home not being cramped in a tiny cottage, and having everything you could possibly need . I don’t think there’s anything that Lorraine hasn’t thought of? Lovely homely touches everywhere in the apartment, and having the washing machine and airer was a great extra as we travelled light. Location was just perfect, it was so quiet, that the only noise was the seagulls reminding you that you were so close to the sea. Personally I think this apartment is the best one out of the group, as none of them have the balcony looking straight on at the sea, and with full sun. It isn’t even a minute’s walk to cross the road to the beach and was good to see that there was plenty of room on the beach, even though it was the busy double BH week. Location is perfect as the road is right in the town too, so a couple of minute’s walk to all the shops, which are perfect for gifts on any budget, Including Cobble Corner that has a PO and anything else you might have forgotten to bring on your trip. I shopped in most of the them, and ate in the pubs, food and service was brilliant. Short drive to Sainsburys too, not a bad walk either as plenty to see on route. Such a pretty town and we got talking to locals who were so friendly, and offered advice too. We walked miles on the Coastal paths in both directions, also drove to many locations for more walking, we were surrounded by many beautiful places to visit, but my favourite place was visiting St. Michael’s Mount and it was right on the doorstep, it’s absolutely unique and stunning to look at but when you visit, it’s even more beautiful. Parking wasn’t a problem for us we got a space every day we came back. We had the best time ever on our first visit to Cornwall, saw some beautiful places and am sorry to say I’d never heard of Marazion before I started searching for somewhere to stay, but am so glad to have found and visited there, as it’s somewhere I would definitely visit again. Having the great location and such a spotlessly clean and homely apartment to come back to, made our stay just perfect. Thank you Lorraine and Mark for being the perfect hosts and making us so comfortable. We wish you every success x

Two weeks of joy.

Lorraine couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. The apartments photos don't do it justice. It is way bigger and a true home from home. The lovely views of the sea and sunset every night after touring Cornwall was so relaxing. We will be back. Thank you Lorraine.

A perfect location

The apartment was not only spotless but also really well equipped, with lots of little touches everywhere. The location couldn't be much better - moments' walk away from the beach and with a view of the sunsets in the evening from the balcony. It was quiet and we had no difficulty finding a parking space (though the spaces are tight!). Marazion was a delight, too.

Location fantastic , great beach and town , with lovely walks into Penzance and other local beaches. Good bus and train links if you fancy going further afield. Accommodation was very good , great facilities and spotlessly clean. Looking forward to going back again next year.

Lovely apartment in Marazion

Really lovely apartment immaculately clean and tidy. Very spacious for 2 people great to have the use of a washing machine too. Location is fantastic you can see the beach from any front window. Close to town and also a short drive to Supermarkets. Lorraine is really lovely she made us very welcome and also gave us some really good tips of places to visit. Parking is first come first served as described and is a little tight if you have a bigger vehicle. All in all we had a fabulous stay we would highly recommend this accommodation.

A little Gem

A very big , bright and light appartment. A very clean and well looked after property with essential items in the kitchen. and very tastefully furnished. Has a balcony which has great views of the bay which is also a sun trap. The appt is in a very central area of Marazion. So easy walks to to the town, St Michael’s Mount and a bus stop across the road to get out and about if you have not got a car. Great for couples. A very friendly owner who was great in her communications and welcomed us to the property on our arrival. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you !

Real gem of an apartment for Cornwall holiday

Really enjoyed our stay in this squeaky clean and very comfortable apartment. Lorraine and Mark made us feel very welcome and gave us loads of tips for restaurants and nearby attractions. They have really thought of everything in the apartment- from DVD’s to sandwich bags, whatever you needed, chances are, you could find it in the apartment. Real home away from home. Lorraine is really caring, great communication throughout, especially at present with the COVID situation. She went above and beyond to make sure that the apartment is sanitised and anti bacterial hand wash etc. provided. Marazion is a lovely and tranquil little town, perfectly located within a spitting distance from all the major places of interest in Cornwall- St. Ives for example is only 15 minutes by car. If you are looking for a relaxing, restful holiday with all the attractions at your fingertips, this is the place.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind

The flat has everything you need to have a relaxing stay, it is spacious, clean with a zen interior and across the road from the beach. Mark and Lorainne picked us up from the station and were really accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
