Very clean basic unit.

Clean no frills unit. Faces busy street. Not a problem in winter but Street noise would be ussue in summer. Plenty of parking. Bit of a walk to office and jacuzzi. Fantastic skiing.

Disappointing!

This unit is in need of an update. We arrived on a cold winter night and it took quite a while to find the unit. It is not located near the lakes and Village as indicated in the listing, but very close to Vons. The unit is directly on Meridian Rd. While the parking is in a lot off to the side, it is necessary to walk on Meridian Rd outside of the snowbanks to get to the condo. I do not suggest this unit for people with small children. Once we got inside, the unit was cold and took many hours to warm up. There were no extra blankets so we went to bed wearing our jackets and socks until it warmed up. We are used to a cool house as we keep our own house quite cool, but we sleep with warm blankets. We could only get one station on the TV and the toaster was dirty and was smoking so we discountinued using it. The carpets and furniture are in need of a cleaning.

MAMMOTH IS A AWSOME PLACE

We love going up to mammoth your place had everything that is needed the condo could use some upgrades but when you go to a place like mammoth your not there just for the condo your there for the experience of the serias I would love to own your condo

The house was nice, cosy and clean. It was really Some comments are that the dishwasher was out of order and the cleanning supplies were not enough for a weekend and also it would have been a better touch if you had some coffee or tea

Location was great but the beds are horrible. The queen size bed in the bed room was as hard as a rock no padding at all. The unit had 2 microwaves but I couldn’t get ether to work. Other than that the place was nice. It was clean and neat. Location was great.

I guess for the price it was ok. Not as clean as I expected!

It was easy to find. I wish I would have know the main bedroom was RIGHT on the Main Street. It was very noisy. The carpet runners were DISGUSTING! For the price I'm thinking they could replace them more often! I'm so glad I bought my own bedding! The comforter was DIRTY! Meaning it needed to be washed! It wasn't stained. The top blanket was so stained I didn't even want to touch it! There was hair painted onto the wall! I realize this is a rental and many people use it but a bit disappointed. The cable did not work!!! This was SO ANNOYING! We were able to get one channel in the family room but in the bedroom It glitches every 2 min. If I was in my early 20's without kids this would be a great place!

The condo was clean, however the pullout bed was dated and stained. The carpet appeared dirty and stained. There was limited utensils and cupware. There was also renovations taking place near the bunk beds. The cable would freeze all the time and it was impossible to watch any tv in either the living room or bedroom. The queen size bed seemed extremely small and was not very comfortable. My family and I have been staying at the Horizon 4 condos for 20 plus years and I'm aware the onsite rental office was dismantled and each condo is rented out by the owner or rental company. Unfortunately this has caused many in inconveniences such as exchanging towels. While staying at this condo we had to wash all of our own towels when in the past and with current other rental companies we can exchange them. Also we were given two trash bags for 7 days for a family of 4. It seems as though as soon as the onsite rental office closed the customer service went down. Like I said my family and I had been staying at Hirizons 4 for over 20 years and it's sad to see the service and ammenties go down. I will say Vacasa left a nice little gift bag for our arrival and they were helpful over the phone when I was able to speak with someone. I know vacasa isn't responsible for the furnishings but they should be made aware of the cable not working, towel exchange situation as well as the above listed items.

Average place but expensive and company overcharged me.

The place was average but expensive. After comparative research we were able to find a place much cheaper close by for the following night, and it had a newer TV at least while this place had an old CRT tv. The biggest issue was that they charged me additional $175 afterwards for only smoke smell which we had nothing to do with. More importantly who charges for smell? Charging $175 additional for just 1 night stay is a total rip off.

Great for the price

The condo was very spacious and with a small family it was perfect. The directions were not great and we had some trouble finding it late at night when we arrived. We're very fortunate that the had a 24 hour service desk. The unit could be a little cleaner since their were cobwebs in the corners and furniture was outdated but overall my kids really loved the condo and we had a wonderful stay. I would return to this condo and recommend it for small families looking for comfort and not luxury.

Nice one bedroom place. Close to everything. Very basic.

The condo was as advertised. Overall it serves the purpose of sleeping 5 people in a one bedroom. It does need a little work inside. It could also use some of the basics like foil, kindling for the fire, etc. Everything seemed to be clean though which was nice! Location is great. Walk to restaurants and cons shopping center. I would rent again because the price was fair for what you get.

Cute Property with outdated entertainment tech

Enjoyed the Christmas 2016 holiday at Horizons and was generally pleased with the unit. It was cozy; the kitchen was sizable with a large counter that came in very handy. The shower was always hot (though the pressure was a bit on the light side). The beds were comfortable and my children enjoyed the bunk beds very much. The one issue that my family had was the TV cable system. I know that the primary purpose of coming to Mammoth Lakes is to enjoy the great outdoors, but with two young kids, having access to entertainment is a must. Alas, the unit fell a little short in this area. The TV is an old analog unit with no HD and no HDMI access. And the screen is tiny by modern standards. No HDMI access precluded our ability to access Netflix, Vudu, Amazon, or any other online streaming service. This wouldn't have been that much of an issue if the Suddenlink cable system was reliable. It was not. The picture was jumpy the whole time we were there. At first, we thought it might be weather related since it was very windy the first day. However, the rest of the week was picture perfect with days in the high 30s and nights in the teens with minimal wind and the system still did not function well. So we were forced to rely on DVDs and VHS (talk about old tech; fortunately, the local library has a really good collection of DVDs and there is a consignment store that sells old VHS tapes for $0.50; we purchased two children's movies and left them as a courtesy to the next guests with kids). The real bummer was New Year's Eve as the poor picture quality made it difficult for the family to enjoy the ball dropping in Times Square. I believe flat screen TVs are now very cheap, so upgrading to one would be really beneficial. Upgrading the reliability of the cable would also be nice. That said, we still enjoyed our time at the unit.

Definitely staying here again! Great place, good location and accommodates up to 6 people.

Great place, convenient location and accommodates up to 6 people. This was a short but very pleasant stay. The kitchen is equipped with more then enough pots, pans and dishes. The bathroom tub is a little small but has a heater right above the shower. Beds were comfy and the entire process of renting this condo was easy and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

The layout of the condo is fine. Big living room.

The condo needs maintenance really bad. Shower room light is so dim that one has to leave the door crack open for the light. The TV in the living room was stuck on channel 4 and it is a 32" tube TV. TV in the bed room is also tube. There are a number of light bulbs that are broken The doors for the bunk bed are broken. There was no extra toilet paper and paper towel. The toilet seat is broken and the shower faucet needs to be replaced. There are a few other minor things. The location is great. It is on the 1st floor.

Light, bright, comfy, and cozy

Very nice space accomodated 3 adults comfortably. We enjoyed the living room area and the very nice kitchen. The TV set is a little outdated and thenDVD player didnt want to read discs. Other than that we didnt have any issues with this place.
