Booked Sheraton after looking at google maps realizing that the hotel is close to Masjid Al Haram. But after reaching the hotel I was shocked and realized that the hotel was very far from the Kaaba where I wanted to be for Friday prayers. The height at which this hotel is unbelievable. The roads around are close so you can’t take a taxi and if you do take taxi the drivers charge you a big amount for a five minute drive. The only option is to rent a guy with a wheelchair to take you to that uphill hotel. Unfortunately with physical health issues it was hard to take the uphill route. After reaching hotel decided to cancel my reservations, got help from booking agents but unfortunately they couldn’t cancel my reservation as the staff at the hotel didn’t cooperate with Expedia. Exhausted from the whole trip to hotel and carrying my luggage I decided to just stay there for the night. To pray walked down to the mosque and rented a wheelchair service- paying out of pocket to get to hotel back up. I didn’t get any response until the day after from Expedia so I had to continue my stay in the same hotel while I could have been staying closer to hotels near Kaaba. If I did book I would pay the high price for hotel near Kaaba as well as loose my money for the second day booking at Sheraton hotel. Overall the stay was good, the breakfast was fair and at the last night was bit by bed bug, got late for my flight as taxi couldn’t come to my hotel for 45 minutes almost missed my flight.

My stay at Sheraton was truly enjoyable. The hotel is comfortable, well maintained, and very convenient, making it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. What really makes Sheraton stand out, however, is the exceptional staff. Their professionalism and genuine, client-focused service made a real difference throughout my stay. A special shout-out to the front desk and lounge teams, especially Nashwa and Safaa, whose warmth, attentiveness, and care went above and beyond. They made me feel welcomed and well looked after at every interaction. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

It was mentioned that it is near to the haram but in real there is no bridge to the haram on booking it was mentioned and non convinient location, no cab goes there and no shuttle was provided i book a hotel for $1100 for 4 nights and looks like it was a waste
