This hotel is in a very good location, and the staff were very friendly. Disappointed by our room, we booked a terrace room, which was cramped and difficult to manoeuvre around the bed. Our terrace was not private and was adjoining another terrace with only a few sparse trees to separate - it was also overlooked by the pool. The hotel has a lot of events on during our stay and it felt the focus was on those, rather than the guests. The roof top bar is a lovely setting, but one evening we waited 15 minutes to be seated and the next evening it was out of use due to a private event. Overall a disappointing stay and would not return or recommend.

This hotel was modern and beautiful. Very conveniently located near Plaza Mayor. The staff was lovely. We loved the rooftop bar which had beautiful views and great service. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely stay here again when visiting Madrid.

Location. Location. Location. You won’t find a more “close to everything” hotel in Madrid. Not to mention how a theater(still a theater) came to become such a cozy, well managed hotel. Staff, rooms, service, restaurant, etc. all 5 stars. I’ve been twice in Madrid. The third, for sure will stay at UMusic. Love it.

Firstly, Eduardo the guest experience manager was fantastic. Great recommendations and made us feel welcome at the hotel. I’m so happy we stayed at this hotel. The room was clean, although the regular room does not have a separating the toilet / bathroom - so it’s a little awkward

Fabulous hotel!

We have stayed before at UMusic and was so impressed we chose to stay again. The decor / architecture is impressive inside and out. We had an issue with a leaking shower which was resolved seamlessly, without any effort on our part and the Guest Services Manager Eduardo personally came to see us to offer his apologies. Even a cake and a bottle of fizz for my birthday. Would highly recommend.

UMusic is a great place to stay. What stood out the most to me was the staff at this hotel. You could tell that customer service is extremely important to them. Everywhere we turned they were there offering to help and exceeding expectations. I was truly impressed by this. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Great location in Central Madrid. Hotel is clean, sound proof so you don’t hear the noice from the streets when busy. Staff was friendly, willing to help and explained the services the hotel could assist with (from taxi to help with local reservations and shows). Great breakfast - albeit some may consider it a bit overpriced given the options surrounding the hotel - that said they did have live music during breakfast (piano and singer) just loud enough to be soft and give it a special ambiance. Only 2 small issues during our short stay: 1) hotel guest do not have special access to the rooftop- so if you plan to go make reservations - incase the day you goo is a busy day for them. 2) a cleaning staff member entered our room unannounced when we where inside. the sign outside the door was places so that we wouldn’t be bothered. It may have been a sincere mistake but one that should not happen - it can create a violation of trust and personal space. Other than those 2 things - the hotel is very good and relatively new. The theater is also pretty good. We saw Carmen and it was an excellent production. They have different shows during the year.

The staff was excellent, location is great, hotel is very clean, the only issue we had was we requested a king size bed, and ended up with a queen, and the room was very small. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
