Amazing stay, top of wardrobe was thick with dust, was going to put my suitcase there out of the way but didn’t. Burger had zero flavour so didn’t eat it. Wasn’t asked why I didn’t eat it so ate out on the third night.

I’ll stay at South lawns could not have been any better, the staff are very attentive, the food in the evening was excellent, the breakfast was outstanding, this is a hotel I would recommend to anyone, and we look forward to our next stay.

EV Charging a Problem

Chose this hotel because they assured me they provide EV charging. On arrival I needed charge badly and found the chargers on site had no cables. This should have been made clear when I asked the wuestion at the time of booking. Local chargers were out of action, so immense range anxiety which almost caused me to return home early.

Stayed just the one night (room only). Room was a good size and there was everything a guest would need. Shower was excellent. Have to take issue however with the hotel’s policy of allowing dogs in rooms. Appreciate this is walking country being on the edge of the New Forest but animals should be quartered in a separate outside block. There was nothing in the room booklet about dogs and a brief caption stating ‘dogs welcome’ on the hotel website. My wife and I would not book again for this reason. Overpriced in our view at £161 per night, excluding breakfast.
