We arrived near to midnight due to our late flight time and the reception arrival was still warm and welcoming. We were glad to be able to have a kettle and bottled water booked to our room bill as we enjoy an evening mint tea. Our room was on the same floor as the pool which was very appreciated as we made the most of this fabulous area every day. The daily breakfast had wide choice of fresh fruit : some cold meat and cheese: yoghurts jams and bread rolls; there was sliced bread and a hot option of bacon, boiled/fried or scrambled eggs and mini sausages, mushrooms and beans. A couple of evenings we made use of the lounge television showing some of the live football while enjoying a lovely gin and tonic from the hotel bar. All the staff interactions were very friendly and receptive ; they were always as helpful with their advise or suggestions

The property is wonderful and the staff bid very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the breakfast buffet. Maybe a little variety will help. We got tired of the same thing everyday and had to go elsewhere for breakfast just to have something different.

It has such a lovely atmosphere and the staff were really helpful. There is a swimming pool and gym and the hotel is perfectly placed for the town centre. The buffet breakfast is excellent.
