The trainee who checked me in was adorable - lovely and chatty and friendly - while the supervisor was glum and superior-acting (the opposite of friendly). My hall and room 739 were a bit shabby - top of the curtains were filthy brown, carpet in my room was stained, stains in bathroom - but the view from the balcony was superb. Way overpriced. Friendly housekeepers. Nice room service staff. Valets a bit stiff, as if they’re always deciding whether you belong there or not.

I really enjoyed my stay. Bell hop was excellent and well as the servers in the Fig restaurant. I ate there for breakfast Saturday and Sunday and it was very good. Great location walking distance from the beach. I was only in town for a weekend but we’ll worth it.

Beautiful ocean view

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was ok. The hotel was quiet and pleasant. The staff was helpful. Free water was a good touch

Unfortunately, the city had a blackout and we were left with no television nor telephone service and the next morning the toilet in the room would not flush and was about to overflow...with the telephone in the room not working I had to go downstairs to report it to the front desk. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful place, the car service was great and the staff was 5 stars wonderful!

Location: Walking distance to beach and shops
We were on our honeymoon, had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room (very kind and thoughtful).
