Great staff. Great atmosphere, nice restaurant and right next door to the Santa Anita Racetrack if you’re in to that. My only complaint is the rooms are super small and the old furniture and carpet is horrible. No microwave just a tiny fridge. I was disappointed with the room but the lobby is great.

Unique design and I appreciated the horse theme as a horse owner and with the Santa Anita Derby site next door. Police presence was high one morning with the presence of some homeless people who were arguing. Other than that the area seemed safe. Slow service at the coffee bar with an employee who didn't seem enthused to help as well.

valet is expensive but the process is seamless. front desk was very nice and polite. room climate was easy to control. shower was very nice with overhead and handheld option with very hot water. however, hard water stains were noticeable. bedding and pillows clean and five star comfort. many low light options if you do not like bright light. tv was good quality as well, with access to all streaming services. there is a mini fridge but no microwave.

The front desk person was not nice. I had to check in Expedia to make a reservation in front of him to get a room. This is the first experience something like that at this hotel. Why did I need to make a reservation through app? I was already in the hotel to get a room in front of the front clerk.
