I brought my family of four (kids 16 and 11) to Los Angeles for five days as part of a longer vacation. Lisa's place was the perfect base for the LA portion of our trip.The place is totally gorgeous and modern, and you have private access to the patio, pool and hot tub as part of your stay. Modern spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, nice Televisions. A well equipped kitchen helped us for making some meals in the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet despite being very near some of the busier areas of Hollywood. Everything you need is nearby: gas stations, super markets, donut places (try Danny Trejo's place), etc. We had nearby access to Hollywood, Griffith Park, La Brea Tar Pits, etc. We also took trips out to Disneyland (1 hour drive) and Santa Monica (40 mins). There was convenient street parking for our rental car. Lisa is incredibly helpful and has lots of great suggestions about things to do.The listing was clear about the accommodation but I'll explain here for clarity. The place is split into two parts. The lower part has the pool and kitchen. You go up a flight of stairs outside to access the upper bedroom. My wife and I stayed there and the kids took the lower part. The arrangement worked perfectly; our kids are old enough that it didn't bother them having us upstairs around a corner but if you have very small ones it might be different. One of the best places we have found in VRBO and would whole heartedly recommend.
