I have a complain that i want expedia to raise it to the hotel management as i tried to send their guest relation the feedback and received that they are not able to investigate or receive feedback as i booked through third party and feedback should come from expedia.
It started when i arrived at around 1:15pm at hotel and wanted to check in with my family and the receptionist lady told us that we need to pay extra fee of 15 sterling to check in before 3pm saying this is the hotel rules. I told her that this is not in my booking confirmation nor was that mentioned during booking online but she insisted that these are the rules and it is stated on the hotel own website. I asked to talk to her manager and here started the big problem of unprofessionalism and impoliteness in hospitality: A very rude and impolite guy telling us that this is the hotel rules and we should follow the regulations, he is not listening even to the guests and he said the following: If you want to cancel, i am happy to do that and you go do whatever you want or you pay the fees to check in; he also said by the way the cameras are recording here and i can get you the police if your voice increases-this is pure threatening guests! then when i told him i am not blaming you, you just need to listen that my reservation has no such info, he looked to me and said you people do not follow regulations nor policies ! he also looked to his colleague and said why people became so rude these days.
