Not easy to locate the main entrance if you're arriving by car. I parked at the back, walked in, checked in which took 30 minutes, only to come back home to find a £100 fine in the mail! For checking in! What a way to treat you guests, having walked past 3 employees who didn't bother to tell me I couldn't park in the back.Would definitely not recommend this place.

Rude people at the desk. Helpful bellmen, they were the highlight. No ice machine. Was handicapped and had to walk to bar to get ice everytime. Was very frustrating. There was no conversion adaptor for USA to plug in cpap or other chargers. Again Bellman saved the day...desk employees had a canned answer for everything. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A bit dated and needs attention

Pros: Close to airport, quick 5 min ride. Clean room and sheets.
Cons: All of the things listed above where I was disappointed. I also do not like the non secure soap dispensers. They are too easy to contaminate.
While the hotel is convenient to the airport there were a number of things that needed attention. Moldy section in the tub and shower, light fixtures that didn't work, cracked tiles on the bath room floor. So a little disappointing. Restaurant choices not great as well. Shuttle ticket machine did not work and desk could not sell tickets. Even though the sign on the machine said the hotel desk could help. That wasn't true.

I don't even know if one night in this place was worth it.

Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet, dirty, useless staff
So I had to book a last minute hotel for a business trip to London from Los Angeles. I left LA on a Saturday afternoon and booked the room that morning. Everything online looked nice and would fit the bill for what I needed. I arrived at Heathrow on Sunday around 1pm and made it to the hotel after waiting for a airport bus that takes you to the hotel (no hotel shuttle) £4.50 each way. Got to the hotel around 2pm and was greeted by someone at the front desk who just didn't seem like they wanted to work. The rest of the hotel seemed empty (which is fine). From the outside and the front desk the place seemed clean and typical for a European hotel. Checked in and got my room card. As I started to make my way down the hallway I noticed how hot the place was as it was a very warm and humid day in England. I wasn't bothered that much as the room had AC. Once I got to my room I was greeted to a on the surface clean room from what I could tell. Until I made my way in further. I noticed the spotty wall paint everywhere. And the window was open (If you call open 3") and thats when I noticed the bugs flying in the room. I closed the windows and promptly turned on the AC. I dropped my bags and made my way to the bathroom so I could shower and head out for the rest of the day via the Underground to London. The bathroom was not clean at all! But all I wanted to do was shower and get out. So I quickly showered and headed out the door. I made my way to the front desk and told them what was up. Said I was going in to town for the day and would be back late that night. If they could have someone check the AC and clean the room. Upon my return from London (which by the way the front desk staff where useless to tell me how to get a bus or anything to the local Underground station. The airport bus driver was the nicest guy the whole day!) the room was not cleaned and all they did was give me fresh towels. As it was already after midnight and I was checking out at 6:30am I just took one for the team and stuck it out. But let me tell you if your going to don't say you haven't been warned. Also you can not buy WIFI at the hotel from the front desk. You have to log in and pay with a credit card (which wouldn't work since I couldn't authorize an out of EU address). All McDonalds have free wifi which saved me that day.

No self parking, valet only

Pros: Free Internet, close to airport
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy, no self car parking
This hotel is not your vacation hotel. However, I would stay here if I am only in LA for a night and visiting nearby places. For this money I could have stayed at Queen Mary and enjoyed my time in LA a lot more. Overall experience was average. Staff was nice and rooms was clean.

Good location and pool big enough to do lengths

Pros: pool
Cons: some rooms can be noisy
I would have rated the room, cleanliness and bed comfort higher if all of the rooms were of a similar service standard. Some rooms are great but others can be dingy and noisy. But the recreation facilities and food offerings offset the negative. I have stayed there multiple times and would not be averse to going back as long as they are price competitive.

Problems with reception

Arriving at 4:30 pm there was a 10 minute wait in the line for reception. The receptionist said our room wasn't ready because of late departure by the previous guests, but they would have housekeeping get right on it. We got complimentary drinks and came back a half hour later. Then they said the previous guest had not left yet. This is probably a standard problem with an airport hotel with guests coming and going at all hours. So we went to dinner at the hotel buffet {very overpriced) and came back to a 30 min wait in line for reception. The problem with the reception lines seemed to be that there were 3 people working reception but only one was taking the job seriously. The other two were gone most of the time. One receptionist for a 850 room hotel is a problem. As they say, "the Brits know how to queue". We made it clear that we had been waiting 3 hours for a room, and they did give us one straight away. Other than reception, it was fairly nice. The fitness gym was quite a pleasure. However, I would not return to the Park Inn.
