Perfect budget hotel for the price. Clean comfortable bed and, while the shower is a bit tight, it’s plenty powerful and hot enough. Easy to find and plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby.

This hotel was a ten minute walk from st pancras/kings cross, an easy walk even with suitcases. It was right next to a small park, and I found several options for cafes, and restaurants nearby. It’s a quiet safe neighborhood that’s quite walkable and convenient to public transportation. I chose this hotel because it was affordable and a great value for the location, private bathroom with shower, a £5 continental breakfast that included a croissant, deli meat, cheese, cereal, toast and jam; and they had a 24hr concierge and were more than happy to hold our luggage so we could check in straight from the airport/train then walk to breakfast while we waited for our room to be made.

Good hotel for short stay

It was a decent hotel. I booked this because of its proximity to King’s Cross. No lifts so had to climb two stories all the time. With luggage it was difficult. Stayed for two nights. We had to leave the key at the reception every time we go out which was new to me. The staff boy was very good and helpful. Would recommend for very short stay.

Stay at your own risk!!!

This hotel experience was nothing short of terrifying. We were placed two floors down in a cramped basement, which is a nightmare for someone like me who despises tight spaces. It felt like we were trapped in a haunted house or one of those horror films where the creepy guy at the counter emerges from a secret passageway to invade your room at night. While the exterior of the hotel looks decent, stepping inside that mfka reveals a completely different reality. The hygiene standards are appalling. Our room was filthy; the carpet was dirty, and the comforter, along with the second cover, appeared as if they hadn't been washed in years. Stains that I wouldn’t even want to describe were all over the bedding. It’s clear that urgent upgrades or at least professional cleaning are desperately needed. Moreover, there’s no phone for calling room service—absolutely unacceptable. If you're staying in Europe, be prepared: this hotel, like many others, doesn't provide face towels, wash rags, or toilet seat covers. Make sure you bring your own essentials! To top it off, the staff at the front desk are unhelpful. One clerk feigned assistance by lending us a broken charger adapter only to try to sell us a new one. Both male clerks displayed a shocking lack of courtesy. On a positive note, the hotel is centrally located, which is convenient for accessing various attractions, and it is open 24 hours. However, the overall experience leaves much to be desired.

Great budget option but very compact.

Very good location being just a 5 min walk from Kings Cross St Pancras. We decided to do an overnight stay ahead of an early morning trip on the eurostar. Room was in basement, basic room, had 2 beds a double and single which was good as double was not big enough for both of us. En suite bathroom was tiny and was very difficult to use toilet. Overnight was very noisy with doors slamming and also a pungent smell of weed from outside (we had a central window even in basement). Early check in was allowed at no extra cost as our room was ready. Leave your key at reception each time you leave. Good budget friendly option as other more expensive hotels in area are also compact so if need extra room check the room size 1st

The whole place needs to be brought into the modern era. Carpets were dirty looking and old. Bed may have had fleas as I started itching all over after sitting on it for a few minutes resulting in a 8”x 6” area of bites. The shower curtain was not waterproof and the drapes need to be replaced or at least ironed. No one was available to carry my large suitcase upstairs.

This is not a hotel that I will stay at again. It is a certain type in a certain area. The only good point is that it is an easy walk from St. Pancreas. There are no facilities to speak of. There are no lifts, I had 3 flights of dirty stairways to climb. The communal areas are all dirty, the carpets are disgusting. I was disturbed during the night by drunks coming and going to the neighbouring rooms and there is no sound proofing. There is also no way to lock the door from the inside. They finally settled down about 3:20am. They seemed to be playing some sort of game hiding each others keys (yes I could hear everything they said). The room was small, clearly built on a budget, I had to run around in the shower to get wet. There was a 'bedside' lamp in the room but that was unusable with a broken shade and there was a notice in the room urging you to keep your valuables in the room safe, but this was on its side broken. Next time I use Eurostar I'll pay the extra £50 and stay in a civilised hotel.
