Fire alarm went off at 2am, 3:45am and 8am. Carpet in the room had a possible vomit stain. Window cracked and sellotaped up. Bed was two beds pushed together but we're on different levels so you sleep on a slope

Excellent room, very clean and tidy. Also a great sea view from our room. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Didn’t expect the fire alarm going off at 2am and 3:45am but dealt with by staff very quickly. Faulty sensor we believe. These things happen!

Hotel and staff ok. However given that they advertise that parking is available, it wasnt. When i enquired i received a straight No ! As an answer. Even though i persisted with my enquiry asking for an alternative no further advice was given As i have limited mobility this was important to me.

It’s a tired hotel with scaffolding at the side which was there last year. The staff are quite helpful and the food in the restaurant is excellent. I had a sea view on the top floor which made up for a tired room.

Room was large, nice view of mountains. Plenty of storage good sized bathroom , towels large. Everything was available to make our holiday enjoyable. Breakfast brilliant great choices. Enjoyed our two nights evening meals really impressed with standards. Staff all lovely and very helpful. Would definately go back again.

The room was a good size however it was on lower ground and the window was facing a concrete slab, also the bathroom had a nasty smell of drains. The only reason i didnt insist in a room change is because we where at the hotel to meeting my daughter and her son for her birthday and on checking in the receptionist had to turn potential guests as the hotel was full

On arrival the reception is the first place you see and the young lad looked like he didn't want to be here. He never spoke much or smiled he didnt exactly explain where our room was he just said up there. When talking to another guest they said the same thing about the reception staff. The bar staff really nice and friendly. Gavin in the dinning room was really nice friendly polite and always smiling. The reception staff need to be more like him

We booked through tesco clubcard, only booked as it was a pet friendly hotel, we turned up, and were turned away because we had a dog, so we had to find alternative accommodation, that was pet friendly.

Booked this hotel as had seen online that it had helpful staff and a nice hotel. Unfortunately as soon as we walked in it smelt musty, I had booked the hotel in advance and explained there was certain things we would need as my dad is critically ill and permanently in a wheelchair, on arrival we found parking was not great and even though there is a carpark they will not allocate a space for disabled people...we had bags a wheelchair and commode. On arrival unfortunately reception sent us to the wrong lift and ended up in an area with loads of stairs and had to come all the way down with my dad, wheelchair and bags, very stressful. The internal doors are really hard to get through. My mom and dad's room was fairly nice but ours was very dated with plaster even coming off the walls. On Tuesday the rest of my family arrived and asked if was ok for us to grab a tea before leaving after their journey, the lady was certainly not happy and said, she was alone so we felt like an inconvenience. We went elsewhere. The only good thing I can say is breakfast was lovely and the gentleman looking after the dining room was absolutely lovely and really helpful. This hotel needs a lot of work.

Perfect location right on the promenade. Staff very friendly and professional. Room was tired but clean but no complaints due to price paid for sea front room in August. Car parking was a problem but used the Just Park app for Asda less than a 10 minute walk away
