Our home in Texas embraces the warm weather, humidity, and abundant woodlands, seamlessly blending into the natural landscape. It is a haven for various species of wildlife, including foxes, deer, coyotes, armadillos, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, ducks, woodpeckers, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and more. Additionally, our surroundings teem with smaller critters like lizards, frogs, honeybees, and other insects. It's important to note that encounters with Mother Nature's creatures are part of the experience, and therefore, we do not provide refunds for such encounters. As a playful nod to Texas, it's often said that the flying cockroach is the state bird. We invite you to revel in the natural beauty that surrounds us!

House Rules
Guests will be required to read and honor the House Rules and rental agreement.

Parties/Gatherings
No gatherings or parties are permitted. Only booked guests may be on-site at the property at any time unless arrangements have been discussed and approved, and additional fees paid in advance.

Security Deposit
A $250 security deposit is required for each booking, as stated under the House Rules. This is separate from the booking payment. Booking this property implies your agreement to pay the deposit and honor the House Rules. No deposit means no entry.

Pet Policy

We had a minie vacation with our grandchild

The inside of the house was beautiful. They wi-fi was so easy-to-use. TV,'s were easily to use. Also the TV had a good selection of applications and movies to watch. The beds made all of us sleep so great. My grandson could not believe how well he slept. The inside was so nice and clean. The yard needed mowed and the owner had someone out there the next day. The owner was very nice and considered.

This property is in very poor condition and generally run down.Upon arrival the A/C was off and the temperature was 92 degrees inside the house, there was a window a/c in the master bedroom that was not working which after not being able to reach the owners I took upon myself to repair so my guests wouldn’t have to sleep in the hot house.The microwave or the coffee maker didn’t work and the oven handle was broken and the door coming apart.The outside gas grill was filthy and unusable.I reported all this to the owner through the app messaging only to receive replies basically saying sorry and thank you.Aside from these problems the house obviously has foundation issues and there are large gaps and cracks in the Sheetrock, Lots of rotten wood on the outside siding and even exposed wiring inside and outside.There was a nice inflatable mosquito pond on the back porch along with very high grass in the yard.I do not recommend renting this house. In fact I feel like properties such as this should not be allowed on rental sites. Someone should be inspecting these properties to qualify for renting.Save yourself the frustration and find something better.
