Did not end up staying there.

No communication from host until I contacted VRBO to try to cancel due to not hearing from host, not knowing address of listing. It was 8pm the night before when she finally called but due to language barrier the conversation did not last long. She texted a while later apologizing that she had no cell phone battery. There was a huge festival at this time frame and many roads were being blocked off from traffic. With it being so late and concerns for moving from the place we were currently at, we requested for a refund or at the very least a partial refund. (Who wants to be without a place to stay in a country that you don’t know?) The host stopped responding at that point. So no refund or any resolution. We stayed put and enjoyed our vacation elsewhere.
