Host did a great job of updating an older property, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The fact that I erroneously booked the efficiency unit after seeing pictures of the larger units is on me, but that was the smallest, most uncomfortable efficiency I’ve ever stayed in. There was less than 10 inches of space between the bathroom wall and the toilet, had to straddle the toilet to sit down without banging your head. But the worst part of the unit is THE LACK OF ACCESS since the surrounding streets are closed to all but local traffic. We were forced to park our car some 15 minutes away, and haul our luggage uphill on rough streets to get to the unit. Something that was not disclosed upfront when booking.

A few things to note. We had the Panoramic unit, and the AC was very comfortable. The ceiling in the loft is fairly low, so it may be challenging for the tall folks. The stairs are half steps and there are many of them to get up to the unit, so beware if you are not nimble. Overall, once you get past the quirks, it was a super great spot.

Best friendly apartment in historical Aflame

I fully enjoyed my stay as it is located in very nice location- heart of Alfama. Not in the touristy section but very convenient to the sights, restaurants etc. Once you check-in, you can wonder the area to get the rhythm of neighborhood and it makes easier to understand are far better. Irina is the the owner and she communicates really well and very eager to help any questions or concerns by sending follow-up e-mails. She is really helped my stay. by her attentive support. I highly recommend this apartment as the amenities are perfect, super clean and nice location with very friendly service. Uber can best arranged for pick up in front of Museo do Fado Mado as Goggle map location may not super accurate due to hilly area, plus it is located on the major street. It is a 5 min or so down hill walk to the Museum do Fado. Looking forward to staying Alfama Right Point again whenI visit Lisbon.

My taxi couldn't take me right to the property as it's a local restricted street. But the 200 metre walk was a great trade off for the quiet once there.

Great stay at Alfama Right Point

My family and I stayed at Alfama Right Point for 5 nights in July. The location was perfect for exploration and it was easy to get to other places such as Sintra, Cascais, and Evora. Checkin was very easy since I was sent a code to get the key from a lock box at the property. Irina was great in checking that everything was ok. She even brought an extra fan since there is no air conditioning. With the fan, the climate of the apartment was very comfortable. I would definitely recomment this hotel and hope to stay there again sometime.

Wonderful view!

We loved our stay at Alfama Right Point. It was clean, well equipped and felt very safe and the view from Panoramic House was amazing. A huge bonus was the Fado music wafting up to our apartment in the evening each night. Irina was very helpful and responsive and we recommend her highly as a host!
