Let me preface with this first and foremost. I'm Deaf, meaning I'm disabled in ears, not physically disabled.
Ok, now that is out of the way. Last month, i was checking on travelocity, for the hotel that is close to the college nearby. One of the two hotels was much nearest.
I decided to pick this hotel, and I also went with a suite, because they had a kitchenette included, which is what I was looking forward to cook and make some food for my collogues. Do *Note* this, i went with a suite that doesn't have a wheelchair access to it, because i would rather leave the suite with wheelchair access to others.
paid it in advance. Fast forward to just few days ago. Arrived at hotel, gave my name, gave my ID / card. They gave me a room key, which is located on third floor.
Went there... only to discover that they gave me a suite with *Wheelchair access*. The *only* wheelchair-access suite on floor. I became very self-conscious about this.
Let me make it clear; they did stellar job with wheelchair access in the suite. It was amazing, and i'm proud of that, i would give it 5 out of 5 stars for this.
However i am giving it 2-3 stars because of **No Kitchenette**. I was extremely disheartened by this. I brought a lot of ingredients to waste for this. They even had a broken desk.
On the last day of checking out, i didn't have a cooler. So i rushed out, to get one and then come back to find out they threw half of my food out without warning. It was upsetting.
