House had a rodent in it
Shortly after unloading our vehicles, we discovered fresh rodent feces in the lower level, it was much larger than a mouse, possibly a squirrel or woodchuck there was also a Christmas tree in a corner by the stairs that you could tell this rodent had been shredding. We were very concerned that the animal was still in the cabin. We had already called regarding the air conditioners not working so were waiting on a call back on that when we also discovered that there was rodent feces on the main floor. At this point we contacted Larissa who immediately found us a different property to move to, which we agreed to do. This moved us out of the area we were in which we had researched for ATV riding, we also gave up amenities including sauna and pool table. We appreciate Larissa’s quick response and finding us a new place quickly, we had two babies under the age of 1 that would be crawling around on the floor etc. But I do feel that we should be compensated as we had hauled our ATV 300+ miles to enjoy the trails that we had researched in the new area we did not know where to ride. The 12 year old was excited about using the pool table as well and the new cabin did not have any thing similar for him to do.
