It was really a quaint little unit. It was on the small size for a two week stay but would be fine for single travellers. The fridge was new and kept everything g nice and cold. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a good variety of dining options within ten minute walk and the Karukera. Cafe was a great spot for an evening drink. Live music on the weekends and friendly staff.

good location in the hotel district area

Located in Yucca property which is next to Canella hotel. and facing ocean The apartment is located on the ground floor.Kitchen very functional . The location is excellent close to other beaches and restaurants. Used the beach at the Canella. If you rent a car parking is almost impossible. Great boutique called Fanou has excellent items which is located next to Hertz .and restaurants. It is walking distance to markets and stores. Friday night as of 1630 has a terrific market that sells all kinds of goods. Only problem with the island is that water gets cutoff every couple of days. However there are lots of extra water containers at the apartment to compensate when the water gets cutoff.

Enjoyed our stay and thinking of coming back

We had a great time. The location is perfect both being on the beach and being in Gossier with all the restaurants, grocery stores and near the highway. The price for the studio is also very reasonable. It was clean, had all the needed amenities, maybe a bit outdated. We do not speak French and were worried knowing that English is not spoken here. The owner arranged that we were met at the airport and brought to the apartment. It was really nice. We were given a quick tour of the apartment. Only when our guides left we realized there were many questions that we had and nobody to answer them. Nobody showed up during our entire stay. We tried to text in French and got no answers, emailed owner and did not get a satisfactory answer possibly due to the language barrier. It would be very helpful for non-French speaking guests to have written instructions in English on basic things like where to deposit garbage bags, that the password to Wi-Fi is in all capital letters, etc. Eventually we figured everything out but were a bit frustrated for the moment. Another inconvenience was that we only had one set of keys that limited our ability to be independent of each other. Also we only had one set of bathroom towels and even though there was a washing machine we did not know how to use it and were afraid that towels will take long time to dry and we will not have them when needed. The studio description on the site said that there are beach towels but we only found something that may serve as beach towel (a blanket from AirFrance). Having said all that, there were many pluses for this place though. Studio faces North so it was never hot due to sun, airconditioning worked great, Wi-Fi is great, value for your money, parking spot, proximity to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved Guadelope. Thank you.

Super sejour

Nous avons passĂ© un super sĂ©jour, studio bien situĂ© sur l’ile avec vue sur la mer et plage Ă  20m. La plage est idĂ©ale pour les enfants dans une anse avec peu de pente. On serait bien restĂ© plus lomgtemp, on reviendra dans le coin c’est sur. Le studio est vraiment bien Ă©quipĂ© avec mĂȘme une machine Ă  laver. Vraiment de superbe vacances.

Rapport qualité prix décevant.

L'appartement est relativement propre et la communication avec le gérant est fluide et rapide. En revanche il possÚde deux appartements sur la résidence et les photos en ligne sont un mix des deux (vous vous attendez donc à un plein pied et vous vous retrouvez au deuxiÚme étages). Bien évidement ce n'est pas préciser dans l'annonce. De plus (mais ce n'est pas inhérent au propriétaire), toutes les 72 heures, vous avez 24 heures de coupure d'eau sur le GOSIER, donc douche et vaisselle avec des bouteilles d'eau, c'est pas terrible. Préférez donc ST FRANCOIS, ST ROSE ou DESHAIES ou pour y avoir résidé celles-ci sont rares. Au regard de nos précédentes venues sur la GUADELOUPE cette location est d'un rapport qualité prix décevant

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L'appartement est trÚs agréable. La vue sur la mer est magnifique avec les pélicans qui y plongent. Les petits oiseaux qui viennent dans la cuisine chercher quelques miettes. Si nous revenons en Guadeloupe, nous reviendrons trÚs volontiers chez vous.

Content de l’appartement mais pas prĂ©cisĂ© qu’il est au 2eme Ă©tage sans ascenseur. Parking public et non privatif donc risque de ne pas avoir de place en rentrant le soir. Dommage qu’on ne nous a pas informĂ© Ă  l’avance qu’il n’y a d’eau de 18-6h 2x/semaine (politique de la Guadeloupe depuis 1an).

Accueil agréable de Carol. L'appartement est trÚs agréable à vivre : déjeuner le matin, face à la mer en observant les pélicans plonger, c'est extraordinaire. Le quartier est agréable : restaurants et petite épicerie de dépannage.Le centre du Gosier est trÚs proche.Il est trÚs facile de partir faire de nombreuses visites dans toute l'ßle. Un seul petit détail : qu'il serait agréable d'avoir un petit aspirateur pour faciliter un nettoyage journalier ( sable) !

Plage agréable et pas trop bondée, bons restos aux alentours. La localisation nous permet de voyager aussi bien sur Grande Terre que Basse Terre et la vue de la terrasse est magnifique. Les photos correspondent tout à fait. Amélioration pour le studio : prévoir une nouvelle barre de douche car le pommeau ne tient pas et un grill ou barbecue électrique sera le bienvenu . On reviendra.

Les apprĂ©ciations portĂ©es sur le site ne correspondent pas Ă  l'expĂ©rience que nous avons vĂ©cues. Aucun contact avec le propriĂ©taire, pas de corbeille d'accueil, ni de conseils pour les visites. ATTENTION, l'annonce est incomplĂšte. Le propriĂ©taire possĂšde TROIS appartements dans cette rĂ©sidence dont deux sont situĂ©s au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage SANS ASCENSCEUR (celui ci Ă©tant en panne depuis cinq ans ... et il ne semble pas d'actualitĂ© de le rĂ©parer). L'annonce n'indique pas que l'on risque de se retrouver au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage. Super pour monter les valises. Nous Ă©tions avec une personne ĂągĂ©e qui a beaucoup peinĂ© pendant l'ensemble du sĂ©jour Ă  monter les escaliers. S'agissant de l'appartement, il est indiquĂ© pour 4 couchages ... nous n'en avons vu que trois ! La cuisine se situe sur le balcon sans baie vitrĂ©e donc pas de fermeture possible hormis de baisser le rideau Ă©lectrique. En cas de pluie, la cuisine est mouillĂ©e. Impossible de laisser ouvert en notre absence, car les oiseaux viennent picorer les fruits ou le pain. ProblĂšme de sĂ©curitĂ© de l'appartement d'autant que la baie vitrĂ©e sĂ©parant la cuisine de la chambre ne peut ĂȘtre fermĂ©e car le systĂšme de fermeture est cassĂ© et lĂ  encore pas de rĂ©paration prĂ©vue ! L'appartement n'a pas Ă©tĂ© vĂ©rifiĂ© avant notre arrivĂ©e, pas de lumiĂšre sur la terrasse/cuisine et un spot grillĂ© au dessus du meuble de cuisine. Le vis Ă  vis ne correspond pas non plus forcĂ©ment aux photos du site, notre appartement donnait sur le bĂątiment en face, pour voir la plage il fallait regarder sur le cĂŽtĂ©. Le seul point hyper positif est la plage privĂ©e Ă  deux pas de l'appartement, trĂšs agrĂ©able. Peu de commerces de proximitĂ© hormis des restaurants.
