I stayed in this resort for 6 days and boy was it wonderful. The staff were exceptional from start to end. Checking in was super easy as well as checking out. The musicians were super friendly. As it was our last day, the musicians found out and sang a special goodbye song for us. Thank you First Landing for such an amazing experience. And when the time comes then I'll definitely choose you guys.

Lovely location and very friendly staff- great all day menu. The only negative, if I am to be totally honest- the resort is “out dated” and really needs some $$ love invested into the bathrooms, decks and cabins.

The resort is in a nice serene and relaxing seaside location. Has a nice beach for swimming, saw lots of colourful fish and sea creatures, kayaking etc activities available. Food is cooked with perfectly. But the rooms and villas are now very old, needs modern updates.

The most amazing friendly welcoming staff. The resort is located right on the beach and you have fish swimming past you as you swim at their swim area at the jetty. Restaurant had a wide range on offer so every night was something different and the food was excellent. We stayed in the Grand Naramu Villa. Bed I slept in was super comfy. Furnishings were a bit tired in the villa but the beach front location and private pool made up for it. Would definitely stay again. 10/10!!

We had the most amazing 8 night stay at First Landing. I couldn’t rate the resort highly enough. The staff were always so polite and helpful, the kids club always had lots of activities, and the food was delicious. We had the opportunity to stay in an ocean view villa which also had direct beach access. Just be aware that the resort is a bit isolated compared with some others but that also adds to its charm. There is a small General Store at the boat marina five minutes walk away for some basic supplies if needed. Reef shoes are also a must but if walking along the reef there is some amazing marine life to see. We definitely hope to be back.

My husband and I stayed at this resort because we had made longer reservations in one of the bigger villas with our family for the following month. We wanted to spend the weekend somewhere relaxing and decided to see the resort before their visit. For this time we stayed at the ocean spa bure. The room was a little dated but large. it was quiet and nice. We were quite happy to bring our family here until we encountered some mixups. We were told to change the room on our last day as someone had booked specifically the room we were in. Not sure why they didn’t put us in a different room in the first place as there were a few empty rooms during our three nights there. In our last morning at 10 am, we packed up our luggage and went to the reception where we had been told to leave our luggage until our new room was ready. Only then the receptionist told us to stay in the same room. Why didn’t you guys just call us or knock on our door to let us know? We were staying just a few hundred meters away from you and we stopped at the reception and asked (3 times!!) if we could stay in the same room. It was very frustrating especially when you come to a resort trying to get away from your busy life and relax. Overall this is a nice place to stay. But the lack of very basic communication was disappointing which reflects my rating.

The staff were lovely. The room was a little bit tired but very spacious and had an excellent vista to the ocean. The thing that was most annoying was being provided only two towels and one bathmat for a two bedroom villa and then having to pay a large deposit for a pool towel (in a private pool villa). Overall it was good but quite expensive considering the age and condition of the place

The resort is beautiful with lots of tropical trees & flowers, feels like you’re in a jungle on the beach! The staff is the highlight because they’re so nice & accommodating! They go above & beyond to help the guests! They even let us stay the day at the resort for free after our check-out. We had a late night flight so they held our luggage for us while we enjoyed the beach, pool, kayaks, bar, restaurant, & even let us take a shower in one of their bungalows before taking a taxi to the airport. We booked the 2-bedroom apartment because it’s the only rooms on the beach with a private pool. We went for our honeymoon so it was worth the upgrade to us, even though we only used 1 bed out of the 4 beds that were in our bungalow. We were blessed with getting bungalow #106, which was by far the best one to get because it was on the end & had the best lounge chair setup! It’s easy to use the free kayaks because there’s no waves at the resorts beach. The food and drinks were very good, the Seafood Platter for 2 & the drink for 2 in a coconut were are favorites! The fire dances on Saturday night was entertaining and the singers that came every night for dinner was nice to listen to. The reception will help you book any excursions, rent a car, & a couples massage at their spa! The beaches are on coral, so thankfully we brought water shoes, the coral will hurt your feet. The bed was so uncomfortable & no grocery stores nearby. Must rent a car or hire taxi to go anywhere else.
