I went to Hotel Casa Coson last week, to my surprise, 80% of the employees are Haitian. This is a clear violation of the Dominican Republic's labor and immigration laws. The owner is French. This is a clear example of how hotel owners and businessmen violate the law by taking advantage of cheap labor and exploiting Haitians, even though they know the consequences, which can lead to the hotel's closure. I went to enjoy my country. I don't usually discredit anyone, but from what we know of history, we know that the Dominican Republic is not the solution to the Haitian problem. I hope the hotel owner reads this comment and stops violating the laws of the Dominican Republic.

We were a group of 14. We think this is a very good option in their price range. I would recommend having more control over the dogs laying around the property. They were all friendly, but for some people this could be unappealing.

Gourgeous Hotel

Gorgeous hotel on a Gorgeous beach. Spacious rooms, clean, A/C, mini fridge with water bottles. All rooms are about 100 feet from beach. Secluded beach lined with rows of palm trees. A must stay when going to Las Terrenas.
