Built in the 1800s and lovingly restored to meet every modern comfort, this 5-bedroom Laramie home carries over a century of character — original architecture, generous room proportions, and the kind of charm you simply can't build new. With space for up to 9 guests and a prime walkable location near the University of Wyoming, it's the ideal base for families, groups, and anyone who wants a real home, not a hotel room.
The space
The main floor sets the tone: a spacious living room, formal dining area, and a well-equipped full kitchen made for groups who actually cook together. A dedicated workspace with a desk is available for anyone who needs to stay productive.
Upstairs, three large queen bedrooms share a full bathroom. The finished basement adds two more bedrooms, a second living area, a three-piece bathroom, and an in-unit laundry room — practical comforts that make a longer stay feel seamless.
Please note: the bathrooms are located on the upper and basement levels — there is no bathroom on the main floor. We've noted this clearly so there are no surprises.
All 5 bedrooms have queen beds (bedroom 5 has a full/double). Free off-street parking and keyless entry make arrival effortless.
Guest access
You'll have the entire home to yourselves. The private entrance uses a keypad — no coordination required. I'm nearby and reachable within the hour if anything comes up, but the home is yours to enjoy fully.
Other things to note
The home was originally built in the 1800s and has been fully restored — you'll see that character in the architecture and proportions. Some features reflect the era of construction (ceiling heights, doorway widths, staircase character). Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors are installed. Laundry is available in the basement at no extra charge.
