Amazing find

This villa is amazing the pictures really do not show how amazing it is, I couldn’t believe the villa was all ours it was So huge with amazing views, the host Jobee was amazing organising scooters and taxi’s to and from the port for us. I extended our stay by an additional two days. The second bedroom is like a second house with double bed and en-suite with an outside shower. The pool has great views over the mountain to the sea. As does the villa amazing views from every window. The hill to get to the villa is quite steep but is less than a ten minute walk away , we paid for a taxi from the village back mainly due to the heat this cost 150TB. The village has a number of restaurants and bars which we tried. There is a 7/11 in the village also which is convenient. 10 minutes drive from the villa is an ethical elephant sanctuary which is amazing , also the pier where you can see the natural mangroves and if you’re lucky the driver will stop for you to feed the monkeys. Old town has a lovely charm and you can hire boats to visit the islands . Loved my stay in Koh lanta mainly due to staying at this villa and been looked after by our host.

As many have said the property’s are on a very steep hill. But don’t let that put you off these bungalows are awesome. They are very spacious and very clean. One of the best properties I have stayed in. Many additional touches in the bungalows make it feel very loved. I would highly recommend staying. Perhaps just budget some taxis when returning back for the day. Only costs 200 bhat well worth it.

Amazing special place

The place is really special which is why this is my 3rd visits and already planning my 4th. The villas are totally amazing and have everything that you may require while you are away. A lovely huge balcony makes watching the sunrise and sunset something special. The pool area is lovely with incredible views and lovely and quiet. There is a big hill from the main road to the villa however, it’s a small sacrifice for the incredible views you get. I did send a a few emails before I arrived but never got a reply so maybe a problem with the system so may be better to call. The staff are amazing and super friendly and cannot be any more helpfully from reception, to cleaners and the maintenance team. Each and everyone are amazing and work hard to keep the villas and communal areas looking and running at its best. The location is also a big favourite of mine. The local restaurants and bars all offer great food and service no matter which one you choose. You are spilt for choice there are so many great places to dine with super friendly faces. I can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you to the owners and staff that make our stay so special

Probably the best hotel I stayed in! There is nothing I can write here that will be able to describe the views from this hotel (both from our room and the pool). The service in this hotel is incredible. The stuff will do anything to accommodate your needs. Can't recommend this place enough. Only one things to consider is the fact that to get up the hill is not that enjoyable or simple by foot. The hotel offer shuttle service twice a day and they are great about being flexible about the timing of drop-off and pick-up. Something to consider, but other than that, it is a must!

Just perfect!

A truly wonderful stay. Couldn't fault it. From the wonderful warm welcome on arrival to all the little touches and assistance, nothing is too much trouble. The villas are wonderful with views to die for, the terrace was perfect for sitting out in the evening and lazing around in the day, perfect for us after 3 weeks travelling around Thailand. Dont let the hill comments put you off, we aren't super fit but walked from the centre of the village to our villa in 10 minutes; we also rented a scooter which is super easy and so reasonably priced. We very rarely revisit somewhere we've been before but are already planning our return next year. Thank you Kitty and Thior x ps we absolutely loved having the monkeys on our terrace, if it's not for you don't be put off, close the doors and after a wander around they'll move on and leave you in peace.

The staff provided excellent assistance with transport, ordering food, and access to tours. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Be ready for the monkeys and lizards...but this is southern Thailand...

Beautiful Ko Lanta at Baan KanTiang See Villas!!

We recently stayed at Baan KanTiang Villa Resorts and our stay exceeded our expectations. Hotel service was wonderful from check-in to check-out. The hotel was beautiful, our veranda was huge and had a wonderful view and since there is a total of only 8 villas, then we really felt secluded and up in the mountains. We rented a car which was a nice way to see Old Lanta Town and some secluded beaches and restaurants. The southern part of Ko Lanta is the place to be if you're looking for a quiet, off the beaten track, type of vacation. The kids loved it too! We also loved Pad Thai Rock n' Roll which was just at the bottom of the hill. Can't wait to go back and would highly recommend this piece of paradise!

Fantastic hotel

Genuinely superb villa, it’s the staff Kitty, Toi who make the place somewhere special to stay. They simply can’t do enough to help. Even the smallest things are to help make your stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Also special mention to Ken the owner, he even went to the trouble to drive me to find a local barbers.

family of 5 wonderful stay

It is a very beautiful and cosy resort. The rooms and villa was spacious and comfortable . The only downside is travelling to the nearest sgops is right below which have tl get our own transport to get bacl up. Airport transfer was also by our own spending which took 2 and half hours to get there. Overall experiance was superb and very good

Luxury retreat

The luxury of the accommodation is matched only by the generous spirit of the staff. Great family experience and one our kids will never forget. Steep walk up the hill but always rewarded on arrival.

Fabulous hotel

Fantastic hotel, brilliant views, very spacious, beautifully kept and lovely staff. Steep hill up from road, but amazing place to stay.

Spacious villa, with a great view, fully equiped with good quality crockery and an amazing terrace to soak up the view. My best accommodation in Thailand and I stayed at Anantara, Riverside Bangkok, Tub Kaak boutique hot3l, Krabi, Anantara Si Kao

A little removed up a hill and away from crowds

Beautifully decorated villa with a personal touch and exceeded our expectations . Breathtaking views of the beach from the large verandah space. Villas surrounded by jungle like trees . Staff genuinely very helpful and wanting to please. Quiet location , unaware of neighbouring villas. Swimming pool , clean and in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon

Lovely villas

We really enjoyed our stay. The villas are kept clean and are very spacious. It is a great bonus that take away can be dropped off from one of the local restaurants. Would highly recommend however maybe not for anyone with mobility issues as it's fairly hilly.
