Seniorenurlaub in den Alpen mit "Arosa Card"

Die (kleine Wohnung) war für 2 rüstige Ü70-Pesonen ideal. Aber erst durch die "Arosa Card" wurde unser Aufenthalt zu einem Erfolg. Langwies gehört zu Arosa und für die Dauer des Urlaubs gibt es eine Karte, mit der sowohl die Rhätische Bahn als auch alle Bergbahnen(!) kostenfrei benutzt werden können. So waren wir fast täglich auf langen Wanderungen (bergab) über 2.000 m unterwegs.

Genau das, was man erwartet

Süße, alte Berghütte mit toller Terrasse/Feuerstelle. Gut geeignet für Gruppen und Familien. Ist im abgelegenen Teil von Langwies an einer relativ steilen Bergstraße. Wir haben den tollen Ausblick, die Idylle und die urige Einrichtung sehr genossen.

Eine schöne Ferienwohnung im Erdgeschoss. Mitten im Nirgendwo des Arosa-Tals

Was leider in keiner Beschreibung steht, ist dass einige Fahrminuten von dem Haus die Rätische Bahn fährt, die einen innerhalb von ca. 20 Minuten kostenfrei (weil im Skipass enthalten) nach Arosa HBF bringt. Oder in ca. 40 Minuten nach Chur. Langwies teilt sich in zwei Dorfabschnitte in mitten einer wilden urigen Landschaft. Allerdings - das ist etwas schade - sind diese Abschnitte nur über einen kleinen Trampelpfad zu Fuß miteinander verbunden. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist genügend. Nicht im allerneuesten Zustand, aber durchaus sauber und funktional. In der sehr kleinen Küche kann man leider nicht zu zweit stehen. Es gibt außer dem eigenen Zimmer keinen gemütlich Ort wo man sich mal zurückziehen kann. Das ist etwas schade. Und ich bezweifle das die Wohnung wirklich 50qm hat. Etwas unorganisiert scheint die Kommunikation zwischen der Wirtin und Interhome zu laufen. Denn wir sind mit zwei Hunden unterwegs gewesen und hatten dies auch vorab angemeldet/ angefragt, sowie ausdrücklich durch Interhome bestätigt bekommen. Bei unserer Ankunft jedoch wußte die Wirtin davon nichts. Ebenso hatten wir eingeplant eigene Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitzubringen. Aber es war bereits alles bezogen und somit mussten wir leider die Gebühr für Bettwäsche und Handtücher berappen. Was ärgerlich ist. Bitte unbedingt mit einplanen, dass pro Tag eine Kurtaxe von 2 CHF in Langwies fällig wird. Ist sicherlich nicht dramatisch. Um die Hütte herum gibt es ein intensives Wildleben. Das konnten wir bei ausgiebigen Spaziergängen morgens und abends beobachten. Wer Hunde dabei hat, bitte die Leine nicht vergessen. Das Wild ist dort sehr aktiv und fast nicht scheu. Arosa selbst ist ein schönes Skigebiet, dass durchaus empfehlenswert ist. Wer plant dorthin zu fahren, um Ski zu fahren sollte sich unbedingt über die www.lenzerheide.com Seite die sog. First Minute Deals für den Skipass anschauen. Dort kann man den Skipass für wirklich kleines Geld online vorab gut und günstig kaufen.
