Weeklong Stay in Lake Worth

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Parrot Cove. We were there to welcome and assist our daughter after the birth of their first child. We were about a 15 minute walk from their home - super convenient! The home has a warm and open floor plan and the split layout of bedrooms allowed guests plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well appointed and the newer appliances were appreciated. The back yard is a tropical paradise and was a lovely, well maintained backdrop to our stay (took many Zoom meetings under the pergola). Thank you for being a pet friendly rental. Our pups felt very secure and at home. Not much could be improved but one suggestion might be a more ergonomic hideaway office desk and chair. We worked during the weekdays and while it was no problem to sit at the big table we would have to break down the office setup to eat dinner with friends. One additional suggestion would be a gas grill for patio cooking. Charcoal is fine but I think I’m likely too impatient. It was an a wonderful stay overall and we were very well pleased. Turnkey is a very professional management company and I have nothing but good things to say about their availability and willingness to assist. Expect us to drop in again in the next few months! You have a terrific place and we are now big fans.

Not so family friendly

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The inside of the home was beautiful while I sat on the couch and immediately had to book another place for us to stay since my wife and daughters refused to sleep in the neighborhood. We arrived around 10:45 at night and the neighbors had a small gathering that included men running, yes, running to their vehicles to leave when we pulled up. Apparently the neighbors cat got loose at the same time and the neighbor was walking shirtless around yelling for Abigail over and over. Not to mention there was a shooting that day within a couple of miles that made us on edge in the first place. All of this before I even was able to unlock the door. I immediately called VRBO and was directed to Turn Key properties as the managing company and they told me on the phone while I was there that the area was safe and I wouldn’t be eligible for any refund because they said it was safe. Over the next two days they continued to tell me the neighborhood was safe and I shouldn’t have been so concerned because they deemed it safe. Anyway, I lost over $1000.00 and had to rebook somewhere else for our trip. I never spoke with the owner and I am sure it was “bad timing” with the weird neighbor stuff, but Turnkey Properties had very little compassion and I hope the owner looks to do business elsewhere.

Picture perfect!

A wonderful house that feels like home. The place was immaculate! All basic supplies were there, even pods for the dishwasher and laundry. And then there is that magnificent garden! We sat outside every morning to have our breakfast at the table and comfortable chairs enjoying the view and the gentle sound of the breeze in the palm trees and neighboring bamboo. We are beach lovers and it was just a short 5 minute ride away! We hope to come back next year. We miss it already!

Will meet your needs

This home provided us with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The backyard looks like a beautiful tropical jungle. However, the house cleaning process needs improvement. As my son said, if you have high cleaning standards you will be disappointed as we were. There was dog/cat hair on the bed quilt indicating that it had not been washed. The sheets seemed like they had been washed but still had hairs on them. I ended up washing all bedding before using. Bathrooms were clean but I saw very thick dust on doorway moldings throughout the home. The vent above the stove was incredibly greasy and the bedroom throw rugs were stained as well. Some can over look this but I had a hard time.

The house is laid out well and has a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, the house was not very clean. Upon arrival, the house had a terrible cat smell, and in order to sleep I needed to keep all the windows open. Additionally, the floors were not cleaned well.

A wonderful home

Comfortable in every way! The beds, linens, and furniture is of exceptional quality. The home is tastefully furnished with great lighting and fixtures, interesting art and design. The kitchen and appliances are top notch.The location is perfect and the neighbors are welcoming and friendly.Beautiful back yard! Wonderful Property

This was the perfect house for our long weekend in Lake Worth. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The house was super clean and exactly as described. We will definitely try to stay here again the next time we travel here.

I also found it strange that there are signs everywhere asking us to take out the garbage on specific nights but weren't supplied with bags to replace them. We ended up pilfering bags from some of the smaller trash cans in the house. If you're planning to do any cooking in the house I would recommend bringing a roll of plastic wrap and foil with you.

This worked great as a place for cousins and aunts and uncles to all gather. The kids went off to one bedroom to hand out. Grandpa took a nap in one of the other bedrooms. Wonderful home

The home was wonderful for us, comfortable and clean. The amenities were great. I only wish there were a backyard that our dog could have enjoyed more. Most of the foliage had spikes and we couldn't let him out without a leash.

GREAT STAY!!!

We had a great stay!!! The home was located in a great neighborhood close to restaurants and the beach. The home was very spacious and bright and was perfect for my family and two pups. We enjoyed LAKE WOOF DOG PARK which was nearby and loved relaxing in the very lush tropical backyard. Loved walking through the neighborhood as everyone was friendly!
