The room was excellent with great amenities and a beautiful view. There is a great vibe here that allows you to be happy and relaxed while you taking in the beautiful surroundings. Anytime we are lucky enough to spend a night in Tahoe, this will always be the place we stay.

Staff was very responsive to any concerns or needs. The facilities are dated with exterior peeling paint and soil matted hall carpets. These are features and challenges of maintaining property in wintery snow environments.However this is summertime. When our room filled with smells of smoke from a nighttime possible fire, we tried to call the front desk but the phone wouldn't work. My wife went to ask at the desk. She flipped on the room entry light to leave, but the light was out. The staff investigated but no fire. However there was lingering fireplace smoke smells in the air. The staff moved us to another room without change of charges.
