Absolutely loved this property! We chose this home at Rumbling Bald to accommodate family for our son’s wedding which was onsite. We had 10 adults, an infant, and a dog. The space was perfect. The bottom level was its own private space which was perfect for the family members with the baby. The main level bedroom fit our needs so our elderly parents did not have to climb stairs and the upstairs bedrooms were spacious enough for the rest of the crew. The house was well maintained, clean and had all the necessary bedding, kitchen appliances, and laundry needs. We loved the large sitting areas to hang out with family to talk and the deck was spectacular. Above all the property manager was super responsive to our questions and even accommodated a date change without any issues. We would definitely choose this home again if we can get back to Rumbling Bald in the future.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. House is well furnished, well stocked and very comfortable. Solitude and nature all around, a great place to relax, yet still able to take advantage of several amenities. We would stay here again. Highly recommend.

we had a fantastic experience, the house was large enough for the whole family, and even though the lake is still down because of the hurricane, the facilities were great. We spent our time in the pool and the lazy river. It was a great getaway for a long weekend.

Peaceful stay

My family and I had a great time at this house. It was comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities. The pool was fun and the restaurant on site was pretty good.It was great to find a place that allowed us to bring our two small dogs. There was even a dog park on site.We had a great time!

Peaceful Retreat for Spring Break

We loved this house - very spacious, peaceful in a gorgeous setting. The weather didn’t let us take advantage of the fire pit and outdoor space, but it’s a stunning spot. Looking forward to coming back sometime, soon!

Great mountain house

We enjoyed this house and would love to come back next year, hopefully when the lake is reopened! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, from linens, to household basics. The golf cart and hot tub were awesome additions that the kids loved. We had plenty of space for kids and adults to spread out and have fun once we were in for the night. Adults agreed that these were some of the most comfortable vacation home beds we’d slept in. I don’t think we have any complaints about the house and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook when we come back to LL!

Nice quiet and secluded

The house is very nice. Rumbling Bald resort was lackluster. Not many dining options nearby but a lot of impact from the hurricane still remain.

Beautiful comfortable place to stay

Absolutely beautiful home with a unique look. Me and the kids call it “the pink castle” because of the way it looks tucked up in the hill and its tower looking roof. Very comfortable stay for multiple people

Fantastic mountain retreat

What a great spot to relax and enjoy yourself and your family. When I say everyone had a great stay I mean everyone. Even my sometimes complaint filled teens! Also the folks from 5starstays are so helpful. I reached out when I couldn't figure something out shortly after arriving and they took care of it so fast I couldn’t believe it. Highly recommend a stay here for a big family. They put 5 stars in the company name for a reason.

Lake Lure home at Christmas

Great Rumbling Bald Vacatiom

This house was super nice! It is a beautiful location! Having the golf cart is wonderful for traveling down the mountain to enjoy Lake Lure and all the amenities of the Rumbling Bald Resort. Karen was an excellent host. I highly recommend this getaway at Rumbling Bald.

Nice layout for our family

We were on vacation with our grown children and their children. We all had plenty of space. We were able to all fit at the table for family meals. The covered deck and outside area was very nice. We had a few small issues and they were very quick to respond to us. The house was clean and comfortable would stay again.

This property was absolutely amazing! The location was beautiful and the house was very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for my wife, me and our three adult children and spouses to relax and enjoy time together! We even had the chance to see a couple of bears walk by the front of the property.
