This hotel was very dirty. The first room they gave us was covered in vomit and had booze bottles all over. When I asked for a different room they asked if it was up to my expectations. Well it wasn’t covered in sick so yeah it was “better.” There was a smell through the whole hotel though. And our second room was covered with mold. Fairly certain there were bed bugs as well and even the second room not fully sure it was actually cleaned as there were crumbs on the bed side table.

At first site I knew there probably will be problems. I had go down to the front desk and report we had No remote for tv. Part of the ceiling in our room was missing, thick dust on the intake vent. The bed was comfortable the sheets were clean. The rug was stained and my goodness the cloth chair was disgusting!! The price was fair. You park behind building and it was pretty sketchy. I did the check in online like they asked, when I went in it still took over 10 15 minutes. We were waiting for the elevator and it finally ca.e we couldn't ride because the house keeping lady said there was no room!! So we took the stairs the stair well was dirtyand it drops you outside the building,so you have to go in the front to get to where your car is parked.
Very thick dust in our rooms air return.

It was an old Hotel on the main street. The owners appear to be updating the rooms but our bathroom specifically either had a sloppy update or it's still needing to be completed. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure we experienced the "update". The bathroom bowl took up the entire 'counter'; the shower door opens into the shower and you have to be inside the shower to turn the faucet. This caused water to spray on the floor.

The design of the bathroom is a major problem. Its too small. The shower door should be a slider. As it is, you can't turn on the water with out getting all the way into the show and being under the cold water. The bowl sink looks nice, but it's impractsble.

It’s an old property that could use some updating. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were out, see picture. Location is on the Main Street in downtown Delavan, several good breakfast places within walking.

This place was just unreal. When you open the bathroom door, it hits the toilet so you have to squeeze in between the door and the wall because it doesn’t even open all the way. This place is an absolute dump.

Had to spend 30 minutes after arriving at 10:30 pm cleaning the bathroom myself to remove all the hair and dirt from the bathroom and shower. Manager was supposed to contact me to discuss but never did. Staff also tried to enter my room with a key card after checking in, and the cause of the issue was that one of the staff incorrectly noted the room I was checked into so they wanted to “confirm I was in that room”. Hotel was unclean, manager never followed up to discuss dissatisfaction. Overall extremely poor experience.

Very upset with hotel

We checked in and went to our room. The hallway and our room reeked of heavy perfumes and cleaning chemicals. My wife suffers from Asthma and allergies . If she would have stayed she would have been in the hospital. We left the hotel. They didn't offer refund or other compensation. I assure you we will never book a Baymont Wyndham again. Very sad experience I guess it's better to eat money than have my wife in the hospital.

TL:dr – This hotel has bed bugs, and I’m having to fight them to refund my full 2-night stay, even though I was only in the room less than one hour. Expedia won't refund me without the approval of the hotel. I have photos and videos of the overall condition of my room, which was already abysmal - the reviews claiming renovations are either lies or this room was left off the list. I dropped off my luggage earlier in the evening and left after 10 minutes. Didn't get back until 11:30, was in bed by 11:55. Within 3 minutes, a bed bug was crawling on the comforter. I got up, packed up to leave, took a video on my way out and another bed bug was crawling on the pillow I had just been laying on. I told the front desk on my way out, they weren't surprised, referenced "the last time this happened" and told me to contact Expedia and the manager. This morning I was notified by Expedia the hotel refused my request for a refund for the two nights, even though I was only in the room less than an hour total.

Mistaken booing location

Went up to that area to visit a friend of mine. I thought I had booked at another motel, but booked This one by mistake. It wasn’t terrible, fairly well dated, dark and somewhat creepy looking on the outside. The room was fairly comfortable, but dated had some modern updates in the bathroom.

There were plenty of people coming in and out of this property in bare feet and smelling of alcohol. The back alley and parking lot were not well lit and did not feel safe at all. The front lobby and food area were dirty and disgusting.

Left the hotel during the night at 315am cause of bedbugs on sheets and my girlfriend was bitten several times on her arms and back. Person working in lobby said he would ck out the room #202 and I called back 40 mins after we advised the hotel worker & he hadn't ck out the king bedroom yet for bedbugs that were huge. I even brought one I had smashed in a napkin to the ck-out front desk to show him. We were in shock that they didnt offer us a refund or even try to contact us regarding this terrible experience.
