It was in the middle of Cajun country, St Martinville, Avery Island, Jefferson Island and just down the street from Shadows on the Teche. We went to Cajun counrty to celebrate my wife's birthday and stayed 2 nights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great. My wife and myself used the seating area on the couch extensively. The bed was wonderful. The bathroom was clean.. A GREAT room for a fair price. The breakfast was delicious. What more could you ask for.

The staff was super friendly, the carpet nerded vacuumed and floors felt oily. There was patching in the room done to the wall that was done poorly.

I have stayed here for the last three summers and I won’t be back. Room smelt like there was water damage and I was afraid of getting a sinus medicine nfection. The indoor pool felt like bath water and was like a sauna in the pool room. The staff is excellent. The room was clean and housekeeping is wonderful. Price was good.

We apologize for the issues you had

Hotel was great! Only thing I could complain about was there was mold in the A/C vent. The A/C may have cooled a little better had it been cleaned properly. And the whirlpool was out of service. However, a cooked and hot breakfast along with the morning staff made it all better. For the low price we payed, we received better service than some 5 star hotels.

Owners should take better care

Pros: near the main highway
Cons: worst comfort inn ever
Damp musty room, bedding seemed wet to the touch, gave me the creeps when i got in bed it seemed as though I was getting between two wet sheets. Staff unresponsive to my questions about getting a better room that wasn't wet, clerk said it was the humid season and I shold expect that. Mildew/mold in the bathroom. Left and got a room elsewhere. Hate the prepaid trips, Everyone should think twice before doing this
