at 1600 t of altitude an ancient building from the 1700s was recovered which once served as a lookout tower. The renovation project had as objective: to safeguard the originality of the old structure: a dream house has been reborn in a quiet area located in a romantic grove. On the ground floor there is a living room kitchen connected to the upper floor with an iron staircase covered in larch, a bedroom with an exposed roof made entirely of wood with a double bed and a bunk bed in the Valle d'Aosta style. The services are located in the lower floor. The house is surrounded by about 600 meters of land arranged in a single plot, with parking area, dining area, barbecue area. The panoramic view is spectacular, ideal for those who love silence and the characteristic bread festival on Sunday 16 October

We woke every morning to the sound of cuckoos, breakfast on the terrace with the most amazing views, hiking through wild flower meadows with butterflies and bees, morning coffee or an afternoon beer at the local bar with Fabio the engaging bar man. Beautiful spot

A cozy tiny house, on a sunny mountainside with great views. In a calm, authentic little town. A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. We had our best day at Chamois, even that's the smalles and cheapest ski resort I have ever tried:-)

Small but very nice

The house is in a good location in its own "garden" a quaint and interesting property, it is quite basic as regards equipment but is very clean and supplied with good quality bedlinen and towels. On three levels with kitchen and sitting area, then downstairs to the bathroom remembering to duck if you are tall, where there is a good size shower cubicle, wash basin and sliding door to the toilet and bidet. Upstairs the bedroom is surprisingly spacious with a double bed, 2 bunk beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The owner Lucia is friendly and welcoming but never intrusive. There is a large gazebo in the garden where we sat after our walks with a welcome cup of tea, remember to bring your travel kettle.

Unique “fairy-tale” house

We enjoyed one week in July in this genuine and very unique old and lovely renovated house on the quiet Aostan hills. Patio that you can see on the pictures was perfect for having meals outside, reading or just enjoying the views of rolling hills. One very positive aspect of the patio and the lovely barbecue area just below it is that for the most part nobody can see you from the neighborhood or from the trail close to the house. Description of the house and the surroundings is absolutely accurate, we (two adults and a ten year old boy) had everything we needed for a relaxing stay (there is a washing machine too). Lucia was very helpful and available, although we did not need or miss anything during our stay. In terms of square meters the house is small, but the guests will most likely want to stay outside and enjoy the open space with magnificent views. Note that there is no Wi-Fi provided but we hardly noticed that since everyone had his or her own SIM card ;) The mobile connection outside of the house is excellent, due to the very thick walls inside the house it is slightly weaker. With a larger car you would need to park in a public parking space 3-4 minutes walk away from the property. With a smaller car you can park on the property, but even then you will need to carry the luggage through the grass for a few meters. But while doing this you will be rewarded with a marvelous view. In La Magdaleine there is a nice grocery store 7-8 minutes walk away, which had everything we needed. The village is authentic and charming, you are much more likely to meet a local than a tourist there. We warmly recommend this place.

Caseta preciosa ubicada en un extrem inferior del poble, tocant al bosc. La natura hi es present en tots els seus aspectes: arbres grans i petits, arbustos, plantes i herba, flora i fauna. Tens a la teva disposició un jardí gran amb diferents espais i usos, una meravella!Si t’agrada estar en plena natura, com si estesis en una cabana al mig del bosc però amb moltes comoditats, aquesta caseta t’encantarà, com a nosaltres. Wunderschönes kleines Häuschen

Das Häuschen ist klein, mehr als 2 Personen würde ich nicht empfehlen. Die Treppen sind steil und die Anfahrt etwas knifflig . ( tiefergelegte Autos kommen nicht an!) Wenn das nicht stört, der hat ein romantisches Quartier mit Wahnsinns Aussicht für sich.

Location atypique mais charmante

Localisation parfaite dans le village. À proximité de tout mais très intime et tranquille. Malgré le temps couvert lors de notre séjour, nous avons pu entrevoir la magnifique vue dont nous permet de bénéficier l’emplacement. La maison, bien que petite, est très fonctionnelle. Par contre l’espace est restreint et nous aurions trouvé compliqué d’être plus que deux, particulièrement dans le contexte où le temps frais ne nous permettait pas d’utiliser la terrasse. La maison ne comporte pas d’espace salon donc à plus de deux, nous aurions été un peu à l’étroit. Sinon, la maison est très bien équipée. Manquait seulement des petites choses comme un épluche-légume et des coupes à vin. Important de mentionner qu’il ne semble pas y avoir au village d’endroit pour acheter des provisions. Il est donc essentiel de ne rien oublier car vous vous imposerez un long détour. Somme toute un très bon séjour.

Het was een kleine maar toch was alles aanwezig in deze locatie .Het enige minpunt is het ontbreken van een WiFi connectie omdat nu alle informatie via internet kan opgezocht worden en als dit allemaal via een 4G connectie moet gedaan worden wordt dit kostelijk.
