Very Good stay in a great location

We know this area of France from many years ago and were pleased to find it was still a lovely place to stay in a lovely town easy walking distance to small shops and free bus to the lovely beaches. The host was good when we found things we needed for the property and most things were as expected.

Great stay

I booked for 5 adults, toddler and 9 month old. Nathalie was very helpful in organising 2 cots. The villa was very well equipped, apart from fans where one was broken and one missing. We purchasedtwo and on contacting Gilles he immediately said he would pay for them. The dishwasher broke down on our first day, but within 24 hours Elena had replaced it with a brand new one. Can’t fault the service received. Villa was clean upon our arrival which I am always concerned about when renting a holiday home. The pool area was great, fenced with a lockable gate which was good for the children. The fact that the pool has a ‘shelf’ at the shallow end was great for the toddler! Just as a word of advice to anyone booking in the future, we were 5 adults. The two double beds were fine. However our 5th adult had to sleep on the bottom bunk (twin bedded room being used for both cots) which is not suitable for an adult as the mattress is very thin and you could feel all the slats through it, fine for a child. Also the staircase is spiral which is ‘tricky’ if you are carrying a child or if you are slightly infirm. The closeness to the village was fantastic – a 5 minute walk to the bakery and market on Sunday. Also a children’s play area in the village. The beach was only a 10 minute drive away. Overall we had an excellent stay. Nathalie and Gilles were excellent hosts. Elena (housekeeper/caretaker) was extremely helpful and pleasant. I would recommend staying in this villa.

Magnificent stay

The property was much better and more impressive than we could have hoped for. We loved the pool, the beautifully landscaped areas and the expansive home. The proximity to La Croix Vamer and its numerous restaurants and farmers markets was a huge convenience. I look forward to returning next year!

Séjour détente

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine dans la maison qui possĂšde un magnifique jardin trĂšs bien entretenu, une belle piscine chauffĂ©e (merci) et un trampoline + aire de jeux pour enfants. Dommage que l'on ne puisse garer qu'un seul vĂ©hicule sur le terrain de la maison. Les chambres sont lumineuses et spacieuses, 2 sdb sont tout de mĂȘme Ă  refaire ;-) les portes vitres teintĂ©s dans les chambres et surtout dans la salle de bain Ă  l'Ă©tage par contre sont transparentes on voit tout Ă  travers ;-( Joli salon et trĂšs spacieux avec une belle terrasse vue mer. Au rdch, grande cuisine, frigo amĂ©ricain. La plaque de cuisson pourrait avoir un 4Ăšme feux Ă©lectrique.Assez de vaisselle pour tout le monde. En gros, une belle maison, spacieuse et bien agencĂ©e avec des escaliers auquels il faut s'habituer. Je recommande vivement :-)

Schönes Haus und GrundstĂŒck, tolle Lage!!

Wir hatten einen tollen knapp zweiwöchigen Urlaub in diesem Haus und können es jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Das Haus ist eigentlich fĂŒr 8 Personen gedacht, wir waren allerdings nur zu viert und haben die GroßzĂŒgigkeit sehr genossen. Es ist zwar schon etwas Ă€lter, aber an einigen Stellen renoviert und alles in allem in einem guten Zustand. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem und es gibt einen tollen Balkon mit Weitsicht bis zum Meer. Das GrundstĂŒck ist supergroß, bietet von einer großen Terrasse, einer schönen GrĂŒnflĂ€che, Spielhaus und Trampolin fĂŒr die Kinder und einen großen SĂŒĂŸwasserpool alles was man benötigt. Die Lage des Hauses war fĂŒr uns spitze. Relativ ruhig, schön bewachsen, dadurch viel PrivatsphĂ€re, aber in 2 Minuten ein StĂŒck den Berg hoch sind Restaurants, ein kleiner Marktplatz mit Supermarkt und vor allem eine große Boulangerie mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Auch die Bushaltestelle fĂŒr den Shuttlebus zum Strand ist hier. Das funktioniert fantastisch, der Bus fĂ€hrt alle halbe Stunde (im Sommer) und braucht ca. 4 Minuten zum Strand. Dieser Strand (Deparquement) ist unserer Meinung nach auch der Schönste in der NĂ€he, feiner Sand, viel Platz und ein paar kleine CafĂ©s. Zwei kleine Mankos können wir ĂŒber das Haus nur sagen: Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, das macht die NĂ€chte doch leider recht heiß und wir fanden es nicht zeitgemĂ€ĂŸ dass BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher selbst mitgebracht werden mussten. Bei dem Preis des Hauses (und dem Preis der Endreinigung) sollte das inbegriffen sein. Die Kommunikation mit Nathalie (die Vermieterin) und FrĂ©dĂ©ric (der Hausverwalter) war top und hat super funktioniert. Auch lobend ist noch zu erwĂ€hnen, dass wir ohne Probleme unser E-Auto laden durften! Alles in allem also war es fĂŒr uns das (fast) perfekte Haus in einer Top-Lage und wir hatten eine super erholsame und stressfreie Zeit. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Schönes Objekt in toller Lage

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in diesem tollen Ferienhaus, dass vor allem von seinem großen Außenbereich lebt. Abgesehen von Kleinigkeiten (z.B. der Lichtschalter im Bad funktionierte nicht und der angekĂŒndigte Elektriker kam nicht) die unseren Urlaub nicht negativ beeinflusst haben war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. TrÚs agréable séjour

La maison est spacieuse, confortable et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e et le jardin est magnifique. La maison est par ailleurs trĂšs bien situĂ©e, Ă  deux pas du centre du village. Il n'y a qu'une place de stationnement mais il est trĂšs facile de se garer Ă  proximitĂ© de la maison. Le propriĂ©taire est trĂšs rĂ©actif et la personne qui s'occupe de la maison trĂšs arrangeante. Le seul bĂ©mol est qu'on entend le bruit de la route la nuit de certaines chambres les fenĂȘtres ouvertes.

Charmante maison, belle vue et beau jardin. Proche des commodités à pied.

Superbe séjour en plein hiver dans cette maison parfaite pour 8 personnes. Idéalement placé, vous trouverez tous les commerces essentiels à quelques pas, et vous pouvez rejoindre la plage sans croiser une voiture par le chemin à proximité de la maison. La maison est trÚs propre, trÚs bien équipé et trÚs agréable. En particulier la terrasse avec une vue magnifique et le jardin.

Agréable séjour avec potentiel d'amélioration

La maison est situĂ©e dans un charmant village qui dispose de tous les commoditĂ©s et se trouve Ă  quelques minutes en voiture de la plage. Les chambres Ă  coucher et le salon correspondent aux photos. La toute nouvelle piscine chauffĂ©e est super et nous avons passĂ© de bons moments. Ce que les photos sur le site ne montrent pas sont les salles de bain, qui datent d’une toute autre Ă©poque et une rĂ©novation s’impose d’urgence. La plus grande des salles de bain accessible uniquement via la chambre rose (enfants) dispose d’une baignoire, d’un bidet, d’une toilette et d’un lavabo. Pour des personnes > 1,80m il est difficile de se doucher en position debout. La deuxiĂšme salle de bain accessible via une autre chambre dispose uniquement de lavabo et bidet. La troisiĂšme salle de bain situĂ©e au -1 accessible via une chambre ressemble plutĂŽt a une salle de bain de cave : tenue dans des tons beige et brunĂątre, elle dispose d’un bac de douche avec rideau de douche, lavabo et bidet. Au moins les salles de bains ont Ă©tĂ© propres. Toute la maison manque d’espace de rangements, d’armoires et de crochets. Dans les salles de bains peu de possibilitĂ©s pour pendre les serviettes mouillĂ©es. La chambre au -1 dispose d`une armoire de 50 cm sans penderie. La cuisine est rudimentairement Ă©quipĂ©e et semble vidĂ©e par les propriĂ©taires : des couteaux ternes, pas de mixeur, pas de mixeur plongeur, pas de grill dans le BBQ, pas de presse orange Ă©lectrique (outils que nous avions toujours eu dans des locations de maisons des annĂ©es prĂ©cĂ©dentes). Sauf le tout nouveau frigo Ă©tait vraiment top. Pour nous, notre plus grand point de choque Ă©tait d’apprendre qu’il n’y avait pas de linge de lit, ni de serviettes. Il est vrai qu’il n’est pas question de linge + serviettes dans la description, un avertissement de la part du propriĂ©taire nous aurait quand mĂȘme Ă©pargnĂ© pas mal de frais. Cependant, nous avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour (en compagnie d’innombrables moustiques) et recommandons au propriĂ©taire d’ĂȘtre plus transparent et prĂ©cis quant Ă  la description de ce bien. Certains points de critiques sont Ă  amĂ©liorer rapidement.

Séjour trÚs agréable

Belle villa et beau jardin dans un cadre reposant, à quelques pas des commerces et à quelques minutes des plages. TrÚs bien pour un séjour en famille. L'escalier pour accéder à l'étage est cependant un peu raide pour de jeunes enfants. Jeux sympa dans le jardin.

Nous avons passé un séjour dans une maison confortable, propre, spacieuse et conviviale. L'intérieur est aménagé avec soin et le jardin est intime et suffisant. Nos enfants ont trÚs apprécié l'aire de jeux. Les commerces sont proches ce qui permet d'y aller à pied et les promenades aux alentours sont à conseiller. Nous souhaitons renouveler notre séjour. ..
