Beautiful room, really nice bathroom! Very clean, staff very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Can not beat the location! This was the best hotel we stayed in Japan. Would definitely return and recommend.

Great central location. Walkable to pontocho alley, Gion district, shoji Gion station (5 stops to fushimi inari shrine), Nishiki market, ninja museum etc etc. it’s a beautiful hotel with top floor bar and 3rd floor lounge with free coffee, wine and snacks in afternoons.

Hotel feels modern . The restaurant and lounge floor has a great view of Kyoto. Breakfast is great, both set Japanese and buffet Western style.

Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. You had either a western or Japanese option on top of the Buffett. Japanese course meal was unique. It would have the description under each mini bowl which was very convenient. Location was the best. Close to the shopping area, Gion, Nishiki Market, Pontocho Alley, and Kamo River.
