This isn’t my first time staying at 8 degrees; it’s my 4th time. The room facilities are fairly dated to say. There aren’t enough plugs for modern day use which could be a problem. But overall, this is a solid choice for a hotel for the price, which I believe is good value. Despite what I mentioned earlier, everything is generally good enough for any length of stay in Hong Kong.

Buy tooth brush/paste at counter when checking-in

Check-in staff did not highlight that things such as tooth brush and paste, and comb, are not provided at the room. Even though the charges were very reasonable when I had to purchase some of these items the following morning, the excuse given for not providing items was ridiculous and added insult to injury for such inconvenience caused. Otherwise I was very happy with stay.

Concierge staff are nice. Hotel promotion takes place periodically, suggest guest should confirm booking at very last moment for entitling better price and benefits, especially long staying guest. Unfortunately, we make booking in between promotion period and paid around hk $2000 more for one month, and without laundry coupons ,when comparing with other long staying guest at the same staying time. I suggest sale office staff should advise to guest that hotel promotion may fall on their booking period.
