70th Birthday Celebration

How do you describe paradise? From the moment I booked until we (reluctantly) checked out it was pure bliss! The house was awesome with incredible decor. My four grandchildren (6-12) refused to leave the pool/hot tub. The property management crew were amazing. The thoughtful welcome gifts for my 70th birthday celebration were thoroughly appreciated! All 11 people, including three generations, agreed that this house was perfect. What more can I say? Our stay here was amazing!!

We are congratulating ourselves for having booked what we believe HAS to be the best place for a family to stay in Poipu!It was beautifully decorated, spacious, very clean and well-equipped. The deck is more aptly called an outdoor living room, and was everyone’s favorite room in the house. Leisurely breakfasts with gorgeous views and birdsong were a daily event. We barely turned a tv on, but if that is your thing, you have many to choose from. We preferred playing boardgames during evenings in. I believe a few were provided, but we brought our favorites with us. The dining table provided ample room for all nine of us to dine or play games. The saltwater pool and spa were also a hit. The large shallow end was a great place for our grandchildren to play—with supervision and water wings, of course. The welcome book was very informative regarding things to do and see, as well as restaurants and shopping. We loved our Allerton Garden tour, the Coconut Beach Luau, hiking in Waimea Canyon State Park, the Napali Coast boat tour, as well as just walking the neighborhood and Shipwreck Beach, and viewing nearby Spouting Horn. We had a wonderful stay! Our enjoyment of this home was a big part of our relaxing vacation. The only suggestion I could make for improvement would be to put some kind of window covering on the master shower window, as it backs up to the outdoor shower—which can be accessed from the patio and the inside hallway. Otherwise, perfection!

Perfect spot for large family

We had a great experience at this house, for a large group of family ranging in age from 18 months to 75 years. Kids and teenagers loved the pool area, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and we spent tons of family time together (including most meals) on the lanai. Great location, and good service. The air conditioning was not working when we first arrived, which made the first couple of days a bit uncomfortable; similarly, the spa was broken for a day; in both cases, we had good communication and service teams were dispatched to address the issues reasonably quickly.

Highly Recommend

This is was fantastic place to spend time with the family! Beautiful location, walking distance to Poipu Beach, and a fishing area across the street. I have absolutely no complaints! Any issue we had (Keurig needed de-scaling) was solved as quickly as we let our contact person know there was an issue. We were very happy with the location, the beautiful home, the amenities, the distance from the airport, the choice of restaurants and markets and more.

Island Dream

The property was absolutely fantastic. From the layout to the decor, it had a total Hawaiian feel. Whether it was enjoying a breathwork session or a cup a coffee on the lanai while watching the sunrise, it satisfied the soul. The backyard pool with hot tub surrounded by tiki torches and lush greenery created the perfect atmosphere to make lasting memories with our children. The staff and concierge services were top notch. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

We had a great time! The house was great. Everything we needed was there. We love to cook..the oven was a little bit of a challenge. I think the calibration is off. But once we figured it out we were good.

Fantastic Spot in Poipu

The house is beautiful, well stocked and very clean. The covered lanai is a great spot for family meals and the pool is secluded and enjoyable for all ages. It is a fantastic place for a lovely Kauai getaway. You won’t be disappointed.

Kauai fall family trip

Perfect place for a large family gathering. Our party was for 9 adults people which the place fit perfectly, there was even an extra top bunk bed unused. The layout was perfect for multiple couples and singles to have their own space, while the main floor was large enough for us to all come together. The pool/hot tub / outside shower were great amenities, as well as being close to town and the beach. Great neighborhood, beautiful sunrises/sunsets, and the concierge was so helpful! Highly recommend!

Loved the beautiful home. Perfect location. Walk to the beach gorgeous sun rises and views. Outdoor pool area after the beach/ hiking was amazing. The driveway is very steep and narrow if you have a large vehicle. Otherwise absolutely perfect.

Beautiful Luxury Home

This home was exactly as expected and a perfect setup for couples. We spent a lot of time on the lanai when we were at the house. The common living areas were spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for our excursions around the island and we loved how walkable the Poipu area is. We would definitely stay here again!

We'd go here again in a heartbeat

If you are planning a trip to Kauai and are looking for a classy, well-appointed, centrally-located home with an amazing pool and some of the best breezes and sunrises on the island, then this is your place. This was our first family trip to Kauai. We selected this home based upon the abundance of 5-star reviews and glowing recommendations. This home was big for our group of 5, but the kids are 16-21 and no-one complained about having their own queen or king bed and lots of elbow room! The gathering spaces in this home are beautiful and large. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with luxury bedding and good temperature control options. The kitchen was well-equipped and had high end appliances that all worked just right. It is a very easy house to settle into. The communication from the rental management company was amazing, kind and timely. They provided help in advance, access to concierge services, and very clear instructions for home access and departure expectations (simple!). Shipwreck beach was fun - watching the surfers and cliff jumpers. Puka Dog dinner at Poipu beach during sunset was fun. We hiked the gorgeous heritage trail, toured the national botanical gardens, spouting horn, and the largest coffee plantation in the USA. The local Wednesday afternoon farmer's market and all the recommended restaurants were great. Dinner at Merriman's was a family favorite. The Na'Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon and Hanalei Bay are all easy trips from this house.

Great house

This house was a perfect fit for our family of 9. We had a blast in the lovely pool with waterfall, relaxed in the spa, and enjoyed being able to cook and barbecue right at home throughout the trip. We loved the huge island with cooktop, oven and microwave, and everything we needed was there. Lovely home with stained wood details everywhere. The tiki torches around the pool are a great touch!! We loved our stay.

Wonderful family vacation in paradise

We visited with a group of six adults and one toddler and had a wonderful time in Kauai. The property was lovely, very comfortable for our family. Very user friendly in terms finding things and USING the kitchen. The few small things that needed repair were immediately addressed. The flowers snacks and coffee on arrival were a nice touch. The property has a peak view at Hideaways beach and is an easy walk to the Hyatt and to Poipu Beach for active people. It’s also single story for the main level for less active people which was ideal for our group. We were blessed to have a full moon during our visit and spent every night in the pool. It was magical!

Outstanding rental!

Highly recommend this property. Home and grounds were beautiful. Pool was huge plus. Location provided easy access to two beautiful beaches. My family did not want to leave. You will not be disappointed.

April in Kauai

We had a wonderful week in Kauai. Rental was as advertised and suited our group of 10 perfectly. Loved the location - short walks to three different beaches, and we ate at excellent nearby restaurants. Great location to get to other island activities and experiences. Staff was terrific in responding to our requests. One small issue - our week in Hawaii was really on the windy and rainy side. The pool was not as warm as we wanted. It would have been nice to be able to pooch up the temp a bit. Would return in a minute.

Big Family Kauai Adventure

From the initial drive up the steep driveway, we were in awe! Gorgeous property. Listing photos were very accurate. The views from the lanai and the kitchen window were breathtaking. The home was spacious and comfortable for our large family of 11. Sliding doors that opened from the lanai to the living space was a highlight of the interior space. The pool and the hot tub were another highlight of the outdoor space. This home had everything we needed. We did a lot of cooking and enjoying all aspects of the space. The home is situated high up on a hill and its placement definitely added to its peacefulness. Quiet and private. There is an easy and quick walk to Shipwreck Beach. Easy and short drive to the adorable town of Koloa. We loved it so much here that we didn’t want to leave. We have decided to make a point to come back to the same house in a few years if it’s still a listing. Communication with property management was 100%. Very helpful and cordial. They even saved us booking fees on an excursion on island. We will definitely return. Thank you for such a wonderful adventure😊

Great house and location!

This is a great house for a family, plenty of room for all to spread out. We enjoyed the lanai and the hot tub for end of day beers and relaxation. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-appointed for cooking. (Plastic bags/foil would be a good addition) The location is fabulous for easy walks to the beaches and the great walking paths. The lanai has great views of both the mountains and a bit of the ocean. The concierge was great to deal with, she helped set up a few things for us. My only quibble is the lower level smells musty, and some of the furniture on the lanai was pretty stained. Didnt stop us from eating meals and morning coffee outside!

Beautiful spot and location

This house was the perfect stay for our group of two families and one set of grandparents. The mountain and ocean views from the lanai are amazing, and the lanai and main floor were the perfect place for our toddlers to play. The house was clean and well appointed. Any questions or requests were promptly handled by the management team. For a larger family or group, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My suggestion for traveling families: leverage one of the family/kid gear rental services in the area for toys and beach gear. The management team can refer you.
